In this meditation you'll start by getting grounded and settle into a calmer more serene state. Through the breath you'll align your body and your energy allowing all to flow in harmony. You become the observer of your life in a more objective and detached manner. This will allow you to rise above whatever may be hindering you in your life at this time. Anchor, align & arise.

Hello and welcome.

My name is Candy Foster.

I am a mindfulness meditation instructor and a Reiki master teacher.

I'm truly honored that you've chosen to spend a few minutes with me today.

Every now and then,

We just need to stop the chaos around us and take some time to get grounded and realigned in order to rise up.

So today,

We are going to anchor,

Align and rise.

There is so much to be said about taking the time out for yourself to get grounded,

Collect your thoughts and energy in order to move forward.

Congratulations for taking care of you.

So let's begin.

Let's find a nice comfortable position with a nice straight spine.

You can be sitting,

Lying down or even standing if you'd like.

Take a deep breath in and fully fill the lungs and release.

Let it all go.

All of the stuff that's got you feeling out of control,

Out of alignment and scattered.

Just let it go with that exhalation.

Take another deep breath in and fill those lungs.

Blow that breath back out through the mouth and let it go.

Breathe in deeply one more time and hold it at the top of the breath just for a moment.

Now slowly let it all go out through the mouth.

Now come back to a softer,

Gentler,

More natural breath.

Falling into the rhythm of the breath and follow it with your mind,

Letting everything else go.

Follow that breath in and out as your chest rises and falls.

Follow it.

Notice the effects of gravity on the body,

Where you are in your physical space.

Feel the surface beneath you.

Make that connection between your feet and the floor,

Your bum and the chair,

Your body and the bed,

The couch or the floor.

Wherever it is,

Recognize the security and whatever is beneath you provides.

The safety,

The stability.

Just feel it.

Start to imagine those roots growing down through that surface towards the earth.

When it reaches the earth,

It burrows down,

Down,

Down until it reaches the pure center of the planet.

You are rooted in Mother Earth.

Feel the security this brings you.

Sit with this feeling of safety for a moment.

As you sit in this secure space,

Feel your nervous system start to settle,

Calm and quiet.

Feel that frantic edge on your emotions start to soften and start to let go.

Continue to breathe slowly and steadily.

When you notice thoughts pushing their way in,

Just acknowledge them and let them pass by with the next breath.

Just like the breath,

Allow it to come and pass with no judgment.

Become the observer,

Just watch it pass by.

As you settle into this calmer state,

Remind yourself that all is well.

Start to align with this thought.

All is well.

All is well.

All is well.

Sometimes we get so wrapped up in the intensity of our lives that we forget that we are always taken care of and that all is true of the well.

Align with the feeling and the energy of this thought as well.

Allow your physical body to align with this energy.

Allow your body to slow down and start to align with your mental body.

Allow your emotional body to fall into this alignment too.

Feel them synchronize and start to flow the breath.

Okay,

Calm,

Settle over you.

Now just sit with these feelings for a bit and just breathe.

Now that you are just the observer,

You can bring back to your consciousness the situation that had you so out of alignment.

Now that you can take an outside look at the situation,

Observe and imagine how to approach it differently.

How can this problem be solved?

Is there a different angle to look at it from?

Is it even as important as you once thought it was?

Sit with this for a moment and just ponder unattached without judgment.

Okay.

Now,

Whether you found a solution or not,

Just let this all pass away.

Just let those thoughts in the breath.

Allow yourself the space to let this go and rise above it.

Let the thoughts of release be weight lifted.

Allow yourself to rise above it.

Let the situation go.

Feel the gratitude that you were able to release yourself from its grip.

Rise.

Feel your energy restored,

Your spirit refreshed,

And your vibration rising up.

Arise,

Arise,

Arise.

It's time to come back to your physical space.

Recognize all that is around you.

Start to wiggle your fingers and toes and come back when you're ready.
