Hello and welcome.
I'm Candy Foster and I'm a mindfulness meditation instructor and a Reiki master teacher.
Today we're going to do a meditation to kind of float through our day.
So I've used this meditation a couple of times when I had,
You know,
A tough day ahead and was starting to get anxious about it,
When I've had to drive into some pretty touchy situations and was getting a little nervous about that.
So I find this technique really,
Really helpful in starting my day when I'm feeling like that.
So if you will,
Find a comfortable position with a nice straight spine.
Get settled in and comfy and let's take a deep breath in.
Let it all go.
Take another deep breath in and out and one more deep breath in and let it all go.
Falling back into that softer,
Gentler,
More natural breath.
Just allow each breath cycle to just calm and soothe the body.
Allow it to relax your mind and bring a little peace in.
Allow your mind to follow each breath in and out.
As different thoughts pop up,
Just acknowledge them and let them pass with each breath.
Following each breath in and out.
Feel your center.
Feel yourself really settled into your physical space.
Focusing on the breath.
Feel yourself kind of step out of your physical body.
Stepping out to be just the observer of the emotions within.
No judgment.
No critiques.
What do you have in store today?
If there's something you've been worried about,
Has some high energy attached to it,
A trip you need to go on,
Brings a little anxiousness in,
Just observe these feelings.
Let them pass with each exhalation.
Disconnected from that emotion.
Start to imagine your day unfolding in perfect harmony.
Visualize yourself within this little bubble,
Not affected by the intensity of the outside world and just floating through your day with pure perfection.
Moving through any obstacles with ease and grace.
Keep working through the day step by step in its pure perfection.
In a state of true flow and ease.
Before you know it,
You've completed all of your tasks,
All of your chores,
All of your responsibilities for the day.
Feel that sense of accomplishment,
Energized,
Completion of all you had.
It's time now to come back to your physical space.
Recognize the environment around you physically.
Start to wiggle your fingers and your fingers and toes.
Take a deep breath in and release.
Come back when you're ready.
You are now ready to progress into your day and just watch how it unfolds smoothly and gracefully and with total ease.
