Equinox Activations

Arriving early this year due to the leap year this equinox brings us an equal day and night. Whether in the northern or southern hemisphere, this is a true turning point for all of us. Traditionally many different rituals are part of the norm and generally related to the start of spring or fall.

Arriving early this year due to it being a leap year,

The equinox brings us an equal day and night.

Whether in the northern or southern hemisphere,

This is a turning point.

Traditionally,

Many different rituals are part of the norm and generally related to the start of spring or fall.

That being said,

Before we begin,

I'll urge you to gather any tools you may want to bring to your practice today.

Feel free to follow your likes and intuition here.

Light a candle,

Refresh your altar,

Incorporate a plant or a harvest,

Or just refresh the room.

Whatever makes you feel good.

Prepare your space and begin to settle in.

Will you take a deep breath in and a full breath out?

Breathe in deeply and out fully.

Taking one more deep breath in and one more great breath out.

Start to settle into that softer,

Gentler breath and allow each cycle to soothe your body and your mind.

Imagine as you were strolling along the path on the perfect day.

Allow your mind to take in all that is around you.

The beautiful plants,

Trees,

Grasses,

The birds and animals,

And more.

Feel whatever comes up for you.

Feel gratitude for these things,

The abundance around us.

Take in those feelings,

New beginnings,

Rebirth,

Abundance and security.

As you do recognize that deep connection to your present world,

Being truly connected to your environment,

To nature.

What does this abundance look like to you?

Allowing no restrictions to hold your dreams back.

Allowing your imagination to plant the seeds of your transformation and harvest the abundance of your efforts.

Is this a time for a change in direction or is this just time to take a leap into your future?

Releasing any fear as it rises up and continue to imagine this transformation.

Allowing it all to move you forward.

Creating this new abundance in its perfect vibrance.

Will you bring yourself back now to your physical space?

Recognizing your surroundings.

Candy has an amazing, calming, strong voice. I will go back and listen a few more times before Equinox this year. Especially since after only a few minutes I had to break meditation to write down a new idea for my garden. I was inspired to rethink of how I am using a space all together!!
