Take a deep breath and gently adjust your body and settle into a comfortable position.
Begin to breathe slowly and deeply,
Allowing your breath to soften and your heart beat to relax.
Feel your heart and notice the life within you.
Bring your awareness to the gentle air touching your skin.
Notice the gentle air touching your skin,
So soft that you barely notice.
Notice the movements of your body.
Notice how intelligent your body is.
Remember all the times in your childhood,
Your teenage years and your adult life when your body healed itself,
When it carried you through.
Your body is the home of your soul,
Is where it supports you,
A sacred vessel through which your soul expresses itself in this life.
And now,
From the center of your heart,
Begin to send love to every organ,
Working tirelessly to keep you alive and healthy.
Send love to every cell,
To your DNA that holds your entire story and the story of our ancestors.
Bless your subtle bodies,
The energy within and around you,
The energy that allows your soul to express itself.
Thank your body for every time it signaled that something needed care,
Every time your heart beat faster to guide you.
Thank your body for healing even in the moments when you were not so gentle with it,
Even when in times of illness.
Before self-forgiveness,
There is gratitude,
Gratitude for this body,
This vessel that allows you to be here,
Alive and that gives you the opportunity to forgive yourself for anything you have lived or chosen in the past.
Now,
Gently wrap your arms around yourself,
Give yourself a soft embrace and send this gratitude into your body.
Keep breathing deeply,
Filled with love and appreciation.
You can rest your arms and now begin to visualize yourself in a place in nature,
A place your soul knows,
A place where you feel at home,
Safe,
Held as if this entire place was created just for you and you begin to walk.
Ahead of you,
You see a child and you slowly approach,
Observing this child and you notice this child is dressed exactly like you.
You come closer with curiosity and the child looks at you in the same way until you are standing face to face.
You gently lower yourself to meet the child at eye level and as you look into their eyes,
It feels like looking to someone deeply familiar,
Like a dear friend.
You feel so comfortable that you sit down beside the child,
Taking a deep breath and exhaling with relief,
As if you are finally with someone you can trust and be exactly as you are.
And then you tell to this child how safe you feel in their presence and the child looks at you and gently asks,
Why do you seem so worried?
I can feel your heart,
Why does it feel so heavy?
And now you breathe,
Allowing memories to arise,
Moments where you held guilt,
Regret,
Doubt,
Feelings you didn't want to face that slowly turned into stones inside your heart.
But with this child you feel safe,
You allow yourself to open,
You share things you have never even told yourself.
So you can tell this child what makes your heart feel heavy,
What guilt you have been carrying,
There is no need to justify,
They only want to understand.
And as you speak,
It's as if a small door opens in your chest and one by one you begin to take out these stones,
Showing them,
Each feeling,
Each memory.
And as you do this,
Breathe in deeply and exhale through your mouth,
As if with every stone you release,
You are also releasing the energy it held.
So exhale,
Letting go of the air,
Letting go of the memory,
Letting go of the pain.
And as you open your heart,
You begin to feel lighter,
More at ease,
More trusting.
And the child simply listens and sees you and hear you.
This child is right here just for you.
And then the child gently comes closer and with their small hands they softly touch your head,
Your hair with a gentle,
Loving touch.
And then the child say,
You don't need to carry this anymore.
You don't need to keep your heart heavy.
Everything you chose,
Every experience you lived was part of your learning.
Everything shaped you and made you more aware.
The child tells you that where they come from,
No one carries these pains.
And if you wish,
They can take your stones and bring them back to where they come from.
The child tells you there is a beautiful garden there,
Filled with flowers and what you call stones in that place,
They call seeds.
And every time a soul offers the seeds,
They are planted and from them the most beautiful flowers grow,
Flowers whose roots remain connected to the heart of the one who offered them.
And now you give your seeds to the child,
Trusting that what will grow in your heart is life,
Is beauty,
Is something new.
You feel lighter and then you smile,
Feeling so blessed to have found this child.
This child placed her seeds inside a small pouch and on top of it placed a feather.
And smiling the child says,
This feather comes from your garden angel,
A reminder that you are never alone.
Then the child jumps into your arms,
Giving you a warm,
Loving hug.
And in that embrace the child transforms into light and disappears.
And now,
With your body and your heart lighter,
You fill this space with gratitude and gently repeat within yourself,
I forgive myself for all the choices I made in the past.
I forgive myself for the consequences I have lived.
I love myself for having lived all my stories.
I am sorry my body.
I am sorry my mind.
I am sorry my emotions,
My memories for carrying this pain for so long.
I am grateful for the choices I make from now on.
And I know that I may still make mistakes in my thoughts,
My words,
My actions but I commit to always bring awareness,
To correct,
To realign and to return to balance and love within me because I love myself and I am worthy.
I forgive myself and I'm free.
I forgive myself and I'm free.
I forgive myself and I am free.
And so it is.
Take a deep breath in,
Gently returning in 3,
2,
1.
Take a deep breath again,
Exhale through the mouth and move your body,
Stretch your arms,
Your legs,
Your hands.
And place both hands over your heart and thank yourself for choosing forgiveness today.
And may you make beautiful choices in your life and even when you don't,
May you always find your way back to balance and self-forgiveness.
Mahalo.
