Let's begin our journey by finding a comfortable seated position,
With your spine tall and your shoulders relaxed.
Close your eyes gently,
Allowing your hands to rest comfortably on your lap.
And begin to bring your attention to your breath,
Noticing the natural rhythm of your inhalation and your exhalation.
Without trying to change your breath,
Simply observe its flow,
Feeling the sensation of the air entering and leaving your nostrils,
And the rise and fall of your chest and abdomen.
And as you continue to breathe in through your nose,
Filling in your lungs with air and exhaling slowly,
Bring your awareness of this very moment to the present,
Releasing any tension or stress that you may be holding.
Allow each breath to anchor you into the present,
Connecting you with the essence of your being.
Today we're embarking on a journey to uncover your essence,
Using the breath as the guide,
With each inhale,
Feeling the life force energy entering your body,
Infusing you with vitality and clarity.
And with each exhale,
Feel yourself letting go of anything that no longer serves you.
Creating a space for new insights,
New understandings of yourself.
Breathing in and out.
And connecting with the breath is the very first step to realizing the present moment,
To becoming aware of where we are,
Who we are,
What we are.
That's why we're starting here with the breath.
Translating the subtle alchemy,
Transforming pure life force energy into the tangible reality of our own human experience.
And as you continue to breathe deeply,
Allow yourself to become aware of any thoughts,
Emotions,
Sensations that arise within you.
And just notice if there are any recurring patterns or themes present in your experience.
And simply notice.
Notice and let go.
Notice and let go.
And if your mind begins to wander,
Gently guide your focus back to your breath.
In and out through your nostrils.
And breathing is a process that is constant as we embody this human form in this lifetime.
A journey that initiated our life here on earth.
Beginning with our very first breath after coming out from our mother's womb.
Now we keep breathing and breathing.
Each breath is just that.
We let life enter and we let it go.
A constant process of birth and rebirth.
And by anchoring our attention to the breath,
We learn to quiet the mind,
To soothe the nervous system and to tap into a profound sense of stillness and clarity.
Allow yourself to surrender to the rhythm of your breath,
Letting go of any need to control or analyze.
Simply be present with each inhale and exhale.
Trusting that the breath will guide you to exactly where you need to be.
Sinking into a deeper state of relaxation and connection to your breath.
Inviting gratitude.
To be in a deeper level of your being with each breath,
With each breath.
Exploring deeper into yourself,
Rediscovering your essence and what's beyond.
Breathing in and breathing out.
Letting the breath soothe you.
And from this deep state of relaxation,
Start to listen to what's beyond the breath.
Where is your breath taking you?
What is your breath teaching you about yourself?
What is your breath teaching you about yourself?
Listen to your breath.
When you're ready,
Gently blink your eyes open and I invite you to take a few moments of stillness as you arrive.
