Enjoy the quiet between the words.
Who are you when it's quiet,
When the noise of the world falls away,
When your mind eases and thoughts have no home?
Are you someone you'd want to sit with,
Someone you admire,
Or someone you despise?
Sit in quiet and allow the you inside to shine,
To reveal your truth,
Your beauty,
Your pain,
Your honor,
Your deceit,
Your love,
Your hate,
Your joy,
Your sadness.
Close your eyes and take a deep breath.
And again,
Until the sound of your breath is the only noise you hear,
Until your thoughts fade into obscurity,
Be still,
Be quiet,
And be with you.
When you have discovered you,
Take another deep breath.
Fill your lungs to their full capacity and slowly exhale.
Open your eyes and welcome the world around you.
