Sometimes, being present is challenging. If we allow our minds to wander we will quickly be in the past, or present. But where we should be is here, right now, experiencing the moment. Each day is filled with a string of nows... again, and again.

This brief meditation provides a moment for you to be present.

To be here and now,

Again.

With each breath,

Bring your focus to this moment.

Breathe in,

And slowly out.

And again,

And out.

Continue breathing steadily.

Place your hands on your chest and allow your breath to guide you to this moment.

Be here,

Again,

And again.

Until your mind is at rest,

Your body eases,

Your muscles relax,

And your eyes gently close.

Continue to breathe,

Feeling your chest move up and down.

As your day goes on,

If your mind gets away from you,

Revisit this moment.

Take a breath,

And remember now.
