What do you hear in the distance?
Maybe it's outside or in another room.
What about in the room near you?
What do you hear right now?
Take a deep breath in and exhale it.
Bring one hand to your belly and one to your heart if you're able to right now.
With your focus on your breath,
Notice how without directing it,
Your breath leaves and enters your body.
On your next inhale,
Focus on filling your belly like a balloon.
Feel your hand extend as your belly fills and exhale.
Feel your hand as it retracts.
Again,
Inhale and exhale.
Inhale and exhale.
Again,
Inhale and exhale.
Continue that pattern on your own for just a moment.
Inhaling and exhaling.
Deep inhales and slow exhales.
Allow your breath to return to normal and listen as your heart speaks to you right now.
Listen to the whisper.
What is it your heart wants you to know right now?
What encouraging,
Loving,
Beautiful words is your heart speaking?
With those whispers in mind,
Repeat out loud or in your head,
I am and fill in the blank with your affirmation of the day.
