In this meditation, I guide you in self-reflection. In this reflection, you will have the opportunity to contemplate questions to determine how you are feeling presently. This is intended to ease your mind, allow you to realize your emotions, and tension in your body, and determine what can be released from your mind.

Hello,

I'm Jasmine and I'll be guiding you through a reflective meditation where I'll guide you in questions to ask of yourself.

If you haven't already,

Get comfortable in your seat and close your eyes or lower your gaze.

Bring your focus to your breath.

Notice as it comes and goes from your body easily without any effort from you.

After your next exhale,

Take a deep inhale filling your belly and exhaling through your nose.

Inhale and exhale.

Inhale and exhale.

Inhale and exhale.

Let your breathing return to normal.

As you listen to me guide you,

Have no expectations of what you should feel.

Have grace for yourself if your mind takes a while to ease.

And along the way,

Allow your body to relax.

Quietly ask yourself,

How am I feeling right now?

Mentally are you feeling at peace or are you overwhelmed?

Physically are you feeling tensed or relaxed?

Emotionally are you feeling joy or sadness?

Know that much of how you feel right now is a result of something you can control.

If it is not,

Then you have the choice to change it or to release it.

Think about what things are in your control right now.

Is there anything under your control you'd like to change?

Is there anything you want or need to release?

If there is something you would like to release,

Take a deep breath right now and as you exhale in,

One,

Two,

Three,

Allow it to release.

Is there something you need right now,

Either from yourself or someone in your life?

Is there anything you want more of,

More joy,

More abundance,

More love,

More peace?

What is it that you can do to bring that into your life?

If for whatever reason you feel your mind is still not at ease,

Bring your focus back to your breath and listen to the silence between your inhale and your exhale.

If you feel your mind is still not at ease,

Bring your focus back to your breath and listen to the silence between your inhale and your exhale.

Select what is not.

As you begin to bring this meditation to a close,

Ask yourself again,

How are you feeling?

And take the time for your body to respond.

Listen.

Hear yourself speak.

Let your mind's voice be heard.

Bring some feeling back into your body,

Wiggling your toes,

Your fingers,

And rotate your neck if you can.

Take a deep inhale and as you exhale,

Gently let your eyes open.

Thank you for practicing with me.
