God's Armor

Ephesians 6:14 reads, “Stand your ground, putting on the belt of truth and the body armor of God’s righteousness. For shoes, put on the peace that comes from the Good News so that you will be fully prepared. In addition, to all of these, hold up the shield of faith to stop the fiery arrows of the devil. Put on salvation as your helmet, and take the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God."

As you prepare for the day, listen to this meditation to wrap yourself in God's armor.

As you begin your day today do it with God's armor. There are things you may encounter that may be overwhelming alone. Places you may need to go where the steps will be unsteady. People you will interact with who do not have your best interest at heart. But don't fear. You have God's armor ready to help you stand firm. Before you dress yourself in his armor take a deep breath. Inhale through your nose and out of your mouth. Steadily until you feel your body ease. Now you're ready for your armor. In Ephesians 6 and 14 it reads, Stand your ground putting on the belt of truth and the body armor of God's righteousness. For shoes put on the piece that comes from the good news so that you will be fully prepared. In addition to all of these hold up the shield of faith to stop the fiery arrows of the devil. Put on salvation as your helmet and take the sword of the Spirit which is the Word of God. Now you are ready to face your day in the whole armor of God. May today be full of God's blessings and favor.
