So let's begin by taking in a few slow,
Deep breaths.
Allowing yourself to fully inhale and then fully exhale.
And as you inhale,
Just imagine that you are breathing in peace and relaxation into your body.
And as you exhale,
Imagine that you are breathing out any stress or tension.
And after a few of these deep breaths,
Just allow yourself to settle in to a comfortable and relaxing breathing pattern.
Just allowing a wave of relaxation to just wash over you from your head all the way down to your toes.
Allowing yourself to sink deeper and deeper into yourself,
Into a peaceful and relaxing place within yourself.
And just allow yourself to begin seeing or visualizing a path that lies before you.
And just allow yourself to begin walking along this path,
Noticing the surroundings,
Noticing all the beauty that is surrounding you there on this path.
Feeling how it feels so safe and peaceful and relaxing.
Seeing any sounds that you may hear along this path.
Just allowing yourself to soak it up,
Soak it in as if you were right there on this path in this very moment.
And up along this path up ahead,
There's a gateway or doorway.
And as you approach this doorway,
You realize that it opens to a beautiful secret garden,
A magnificent and beautiful lush garden.
Just allow yourself to make your way into this garden,
Soaking in all of the beauty,
Noticing all of the flowers,
The plants,
The trees,
The birds,
Noticing what the weather feels like,
Noticing the sun,
The sky,
The temperature,
Noticing up ahead that underneath a tree,
There is a bench.
Just allow yourself to make your way to this bench and to just have a seat on this bench underneath this tree,
Allowing yourself to further soak in all of the beauty that surrounds you.
And with each breath,
You are breathing this place into your nervous system,
Into your body,
Into your mind,
Creating this place within yourself,
Creating safety within yourself,
Creating calm within yourself and within your nervous system.
And now just begin to notice up ahead that there is a child figure who is moving toward you.
And as this child moves closer and closer,
You begin to notice that it is you as a child,
That it's the child version of yourself.
Noticing whatever age this child is,
Noticing what this child is wearing,
Noticing how this child appears,
How she looks or how he looks,
Noticing what this child is feeling or thinking.
And if it feels safe and comfortable,
Just allow that child to come and sit with you,
Sit beside you on this bench and just allow yourself to have a few moments with this child who is joining you here,
Who is actually part of you,
Who is actually your child self.
Just allow yourself to really connect with this child,
Allowing this child to speak to you,
To talk to you,
To express anything to you that needs to be said,
Anything that this child needs to feel or express.
Just allow this child to do that in the safety of this beautiful garden,
In the safety of having you there with this child.
Allow yourself to talk to the child and to give that child whatever he or she needs,
Whether that's connection,
Nurturing,
Love,
Compassion.
Whatever this child needs in the moment,
Allow yourself to just freely give and allowing this child to freely express and be heard and be seen and be validated,
Possibly for the first time.
And just allow that to unfold however it needs to unfold in this moment.
And I'll give you a few moments to sit and be with this child.
Hmm,
Okay.
And as you sit with this child and talk to this child,
We want to make sure that we reassure this child.
Because often this child part of us begins to believe things that are not really true.
Because this child part of ourselves believes deeply that maybe I am unworthy or I am not good enough or I don't matter or that my feelings don't matter or that I am not seen,
I am not heard or that I am alone.
And we want to validate those feelings because those were very real feelings and beliefs at the time.
But we also want to now shift that for this child part who is still holding on to those lies,
Those beliefs.
And so whatever beliefs that child was believing,
We want to make sure we just tell that child the truth.
Whether that's you are so worthy,
You are so loved,
You absolutely matter,
You are seen now I see you,
You are heard now I hear you.
You are not alone anymore because I am here with you to help you,
To bring you home to yourself,
To bring you home to your truth,
To bring you home to your worthiness,
Here to show you a new way.
Just allow that child part to hear and feel all of this coming from you,
From your adult self.
Allowing that child part to soak it in,
Knowing that in this moment healing is happening within,
Things are being shifted,
New neural pathways are being created,
New thought processes,
New ways of being,
New truth is blooming within.
And before we leave this garden for now,
Just make sure that child knows that you are always here,
Always here,
That you are not actually leaving or abandoning him or her,
That this child is safe here in this beautiful garden and that you can come back and visit anytime,
You can come right back here in any moment and that this garden actually lives within your heart so that this child is now safe within this garden,
Within your heart,
Always there connected and that you are always available.
And just allow yourself to begin walking out of this garden knowing that this child is safe,
Knowing that this child is here with you all the time in your heart space,
Allowing yourself to begin walking back along the path,
Allowing yourself to slowly and gently begin coming back into the present moment.
One,
Coming back relaxed and refreshed.
Two,
Coming back knowing that something has shifted within.
Three,
Coming back knowing that you can revisit this part of yourself anytime,
Anytime that you feel unworthy,
Unloved,
Not good enough,
Not seen,
Not heard.
You can know that that is the child part within that is feeling that and that you can go back and comfort that part of yourself until that part of yourself,
The truth.
Four coming back feeling relaxed and refreshed.
Five coming back with new awareness,
New gifts,
New healing.
Whenever you're ready,
You can gently begin opening your eyes,
Taking a deep breath,
Feeling calm and at ease.
