This is a meditation to help get in touch with the healthiest version of yourself. It is a practice which visualizes your healthiest self: physically, mentally, and emotionally. In order to become our healthiest self, we must first be able to visualize it and to feel it. This process helps to create new neural pathways and starts to re-wire the neurons and cells of the body to achieve this healthiest self. This is our healthy blueprint and it is our birthright to have it, to BE in it.

Meditation done by Liz Burkholder.

So just allow yourself to get really comfortable wherever you are,

Beginning to close down your eyes,

Settling in,

Preparing yourself for relaxation.

And let's begin by taking in a really deep breath all the way in and even holding that for a couple of seconds and then releasing.

Fully exhaling,

Releasing any tension,

Any stress,

Any worry.

Allowing your mind and your body to just relax and take in another deep breath all the way in,

Fully filling the lungs.

And when you're ready,

Exhale,

Fully releasing.

Releasing any stress and tension and worry.

Beginning to just listen to my voice and to the music,

Allowing it to take you deeper into a state of peaceful relaxation.

And let's take in a last really deep breath in to further relax the mind and the body.

And exhale,

Releasing any residual stress.

And allow yourself to just continue listening to my voice.

And the more you listen to my voice,

The more you relax.

And the more you relax,

The more you allow your subconscious mind to open.

And the more you allow your subconscious mind to open,

The easier it is to reprogram any underlying,

Self-sabotaging beliefs and behaviors.

And the easier it is to tap into your own internal resources that are available to help you.

And you may find that your thoughts may wander in and out,

And that's okay.

Because your subconscious mind is hearing and recording everything,

And keeping anything that is important,

And releasing anything that is not of importance during this time.

And any sounds that you may hear are just sounds of everyday living,

And they do not need to disturb you or distract you in any way.

In fact,

They may even serve to take you deeper into your state of relaxation.

So as you continue to allow yourself to relax,

Begin to allow your healthiest version of yourself to come into your focus in your mind's eye.

Begin to see yourself as this healthiest version of you,

Right there in front of you,

As if you could reach out and touch this part of you.

See what this person,

This healthiest version of you,

Looks like,

What he or she is wearing.

Allow this healthiest version of you to fully come into your vision.

See how this person is reacting and relating to others in the world.

Notice the facial expressions.

Is he or she smiling,

Laughing?

Feel his or her emotions and how good it feels.

And how good he or she feels to be in this healthiest self.

Is he or she joyful and confident?

Is he or she comfortable in his or her own skin?

What does his or her life look like?

What is this healthiest version of you doing in life?

Maybe doing for a living,

For a career?

What is this healthiest version doing for fun?

How does this healthiest version of you enjoy life and find fun and laughter?

What does this healthiest version of you do for movement and for exercise?

Is this healthiest version of you walking or running?

Lifting weights?

Perhaps doing yoga?

Maybe even hiking in the woods?

Whatever feels comfortable and fun for this healthiest version of you,

Allow that to come into your vision.

Nothing that is forced or that feels like a chore.

Exercise for this healthiest version is done out of joy and fun.

And because it feels good to move this healthy body.

Movement and exercise is done for enjoyment and for health.

And not out of obligation or out of persecution or out of punishment.

Notice what types of food this healthiest version is eating.

What drinks is he or she drinking?

Is this healthiest version of you eating fruits and vegetables and whole foods that are loaded with nutrients and vitamins to nourish your body and to give energy to your body?

Really tune in to this healthiest version and what he or she looks like and feels like.

Perhaps most importantly,

What does he or she feel like?

Tune in to those feelings in your body as if you were actually that person in this moment.

Is he or she feeling healthy and vibrant?

Feeling confident?

Feeling joyful?

Feeling grateful for this amazing healthy body?

Perhaps feeling sexy in this body?

Really tune in to these feelings of just how good it feels to be in this healthy and vital body.

That is just full of vitality and wellness and health.

And if a certain size,

A certain healthy size or a certain healthy weight is desired.

Allow this healthiest version of you to be those now in this vision.

Knowing that these are 100% attainable and sustainable.

While simultaneously not being overly attached to any particular size or weight number.

Instead,

You may choose to allow this healthiest version of you to be more concerned with how you actually feel in your body.

Maybe even how you look in your body,

But not tied to any particular weight or size necessarily.

Pay attention to how it feels to be in this body which is vibrant and strong and healthy.

Versus being tied to any certain number on a scale or on a clothing tag.

And if being tied to a certain weight or size is something that has been stressful or even obsessive.

This creates a block.

If this is something you would like to release,

Let's allow yourself to do that now as well.

To release this pressure and this burden of being a certain size or certain weight to be happy or healthy.

You might even imagine that this burden and this pressure of being this certain size and weight.

It's like a backpack on your back that's full of just heavy,

Heavy weight.

So just even the burden or pressure of being this size or weight is creating heavy weight.

So we want to release that today.

So you might imagine that you are dropping this backpack,

Releasing this backpack,

Sitting it down,

Leaving it behind,

Feeling lighter and lighter.

You might even imagine that the numbers of the size and the weight are just dissipating into the sky like a vapor.

That eventually evaporates into the air.

And that these sizes and weight numbers are just meaningless and they no longer control you and how you feel in your body.

Allow yourself to feel lighter in this moment,

Knowing that you are releasing the pressure and burden of this certain size and weight.

And that these numbers are just dissipating into the sky and you're sitting this backpack down and moving forward already lighter on your journey.

And instead you can allow yourself to trust your own body and your own subconscious mind to get you to this healthiest version of you.

From now on,

You can allow yourself to tune into your own body in all of its wisdom and all of its intricate messages as a guide to lead you into this healthy,

Happiest self within.

And allow yourself to trust that your subconscious mind is able to guide you and lead you in whatever it is that your body needs in any given moment.

Whether that's a healthy,

Nutritious food.

Whether that's more water intake.

Whether that's more rest for your mind and your body.

Whether that's more deep restorative sleep for your body.

Or whether that is more movement or exercise for your body.

Whatever your body needs in any given moment,

You can tune in to your body and it will let you know exactly what it needs.

It just takes practice and reprogramming the old system.

And you can learn to trust that your body will tell you exactly what it needs and that you'll be able to hear it and to actually listen to it.

And that you can trust this part of you.

And know that this healthiest version of you is 100% attainable and sustainable.

And that your subconscious mind knows exactly what to do to get you there.

Your subconscious mind will help you to make healthy life choices and the next best steps to get you to this healthiest version of you.

And this is your healthy body blueprint.

And this is your birthright to be in this healthiest version of you.

Healthiest version mentally,

Physically,

And emotionally.

You can have it.

And if you can see it in your mind and you can believe it,

You can achieve it.

And now I invite you to take a few moments to allow your present self to merge with and integrate with this healthiest version of you.

You may see a swirl of bright energy surrounding both versions of you,

Possibly swirling around you as you merge into one.

You may see this energy or this swirling as a certain color that may enhance this feeling of merging with this healthiest version of you.

You may see a symbol or a sign that will further enhance and anchor in this feeling of merging with your healthiest version of you.

Because this healthiest version is you and you are this healthiest version.

And even in doing this meditation in this moment,

You are rewriting the program,

Rewriting the nervous system,

Rewiring the body and the mind to move further and further toward this healthiest version of you.

And the more you can tune into this,

The more you are able to rewrite and reprogram the script to get you to this healthiest version of you.

So take a few more moments to just really feel this feeling of becoming and of being this healthiest version of you.

Breathe in deeply this feeling of being healthy and strong.

Feeling this breath of life in your body,

Anchoring in all of this healthiest version of you,

Anchoring this into your body,

Into your nervous system,

Into every muscle,

Every bone and every fiber of your being.

Creating muscle memory as we speak,

Creating nervous system memory as we speak,

Creating body memory as we speak.

Literally,

Your body is reprogramming and forming this healthiest version of yourself as we speak.

Know that you can tap into this healthiest version of you at any time,

Any place by just closing your eyes,

Taking a deep breath and asking this healthiest version of you to show up to lead you and to guide you.

And know that you can start fresh every single day,

Every single minute.

And that when you make mistakes or mess up,

You don't need to beat yourself up.

You don't need to reprimand yourself.

You don't need to punish yourself.

Because the way to get to this healthiest version of you is by showing yourself grace and compassion and love over and over and over and over again.

So you might find yourself whenever you mess up and want to slip back into the old programming of criticizing and beating yourself up.

You can place your hand over your heart and just say,

I love and accept myself.

And it's okay that I made a mistake and I can start fresh.

I can start anew every minute,

Every moment of every day.

Every moment is a new moment to start fresh.

And so the more you can sense and feel and see and visualize this healthiest version of you,

The easier and easier it will become for your mind and your body and your subconscious mind to respond and align with this vision and to make it manifest.

Because it is your birthright,

Your healthy body blueprint.

So allow yourself to take a few moments to fully breathe this in.

And whenever you're ready,

Start to come back into the room,

Back into the present moment,

Back into your body,

Feeling more confident,

Feeling more vibrant,

Feeling more healthy,

And knowing that you can achieve this healthiest version of you.

That meditation was fabulous. Unusual meditation for healthiest you. kind of abrupt end tho, so stay longer after recording finishes.

Wonderful practice. As a practitioner myself I often struggle to find practices I like. Great unhooking from unhelpful attachments. Genuinely setting a compassionate direction towards who you are comfortable being.

Hey Liz, I liked this a lot. I am trying to get my motivation and determination back to get healthy again and it’s been really hard. This practice made me finally have a visualization of myself as healthy and happy again so I really appreciate it.

Interesting and revealing. I tried not to have expectations going in, but still thought the image I would see would likely be myself at my current age or slightly older, after results were more apparent from the various corrective medical procedures and lifestyle changes had really settled in. Instead, I saw myself as I was 22 years ago. I suddenly realized that the work I have been doing over the last few years has, in fact, been returning me in key physical ways to my former self. But most striking was the presence, the calm, confident, smiling, utterly at home and content presence. I remember that. In this practice, I also briefly FELT that again. And I further realized that I have been working towards that as well, these last few years. I have indeed had moments - albeit brief - of feeling the same way as I did almost always back then. Key physical actions are already in motion which will move me even closer still to that centered and happy state of being. Instead of seeing my future or present, I saw my last and it served to show how far I had strayed - and where I have been working to return to. That had been unclear until now. I don't expect (nor do I want) to magically shed the last 22 years, but I do know that the state of overall being I was then is absolutely achievable in the now, and apparently my subconscious has known this all the while. I'm closer to it than I thought, and I have been smiling over this recognition since the moment I recovered from my surprise at seeing what my healthiest self appeared to me to be. Thank you for sharing this gift of a practice(/hypnosis session πŸ˜‰) with us here. I see the light within you, always. 🀲🏻❀️🀲🏻
