Hello my loves,
My name is Chris and welcome back to another guided meditation.
In today's meditation you'll be guided through a heart-centered Reiki meditation for self-love.
This practice is designed to help you open your heart chakra,
Release any self-doubts or resistance,
And cultivate a deeper connection with unconditional love for yourself.
By doing this meditation,
You may experience greater emotional balance,
Perhaps increased self-compassion,
And maybe even a profound sense of inner peace.
So let's get to our practice.
Let's find a comfortable position,
Either seated or lying down.
Close your eyes,
Allow yourself to soften the shoulders,
And maybe allow your hands to rest gently on your lap or perhaps on your knees,
Maybe perhaps with the palms facing upward.
I want you to bring your awareness to your breath.
We'll inhale deeply through your nose,
Allowing the belly to rise and inflate,
And then as you exhale,
Slowly open the mouth,
Let go of any tension,
Let any of that stress melt away.
Belly deflates.
We'll do that two more times.
Deep breath in,
The belly inflates,
And open the mouth.
Belly deflates,
Allow any of that stress,
That tension,
Just to melt away.
One more time,
Deep breath in,
Open the mouth,
Let it out.
Continue just to breathe deeply here,
Just allow each breath,
Perhaps you feel yourself arriving more fully into this moment.
As we breathe deeply here,
Let's take a moment to ground ourselves.
I want you to visualize roots extending from the base of your spine,
Or perhaps the soles of your feet,
Or any parts of your body that are touching the floor right now.
You'll imagine these roots growing and reaching deep into the earth.
I want you to feel the earth's nurturing energy as these roots grow deeper down,
And this earth's nurturing energy rises through the roots as they anchor you and support you.
Now,
Maybe you bring one hand to your heart center,
And the other to your abdomen.
As you breathe here,
Perhaps you feel the warmth of your hands as you breathe deeply into this connection.
As you breathe here,
Perhaps you imagine a gentle light glowing within your heart space.
Maybe a warm,
A radiant green light,
The color of your heart chakra.
Now,
We'll invite the Reiki energy in,
Perhaps silently or aloud.
As you breathe here,
You can say to yourself,
And invite this Reiki energy to flow into this meditation.
You may say,
I invite the healing energy of Reiki to flow through me,
Filling me with unconditional love and light.
I am open to receiving this healing energy for my highest good.
As you breathe here,
Perhaps you imagine the Reiki energy comes down,
And it descends like a soft beam of golden light from above,
And fills the air around you,
Space.
Perhaps as you breathe,
It enters through the crown of your head,
And flows gently down into your heart space.
You can feel this light combining with that green light in your heart,
As it's growing brighter and stronger with each breath that you take.
Now as the Reiki energy flows through your body,
Mind,
And spirit,
I want you to sense its wisdom,
Perhaps guiding it to areas that hold self-doubts,
Pains,
Or resistances.
Maybe these feel like subtle sensations or emotions,
Or simply an inner knowing of where healing is needed in your body,
Both on that physical and maybe that energetic level.
Perhaps you see these cords or connectors gently revealed and illuminating by the surrounding light.
They may appear as threads,
Maybe,
Or knots,
Or shadows,
Or might just be a feeling.
Whatever comes to mind is perfect to you.
With these areas illuminated,
Maybe we imagine the Reiki energy acting like a gentle yet powerful current,
As it severs these cords and dissolves them into the light.
It takes away any lingering doubts,
Pains,
Or resistances.
They're transmuted,
Healed,
And released into this radiant field of light.
Feel the space left behind where those attachments once were.
Visualize that Reiki energy flowing into these spaces and filling them with its golden healing light.
Allow yourself to sense this light restoring you,
Bringing balance,
Love,
And harmony to every part of your being.
Now gently focus on that radiant light within your heart space.
Visualize it as a warm glowing sphere of green,
Or perhaps even pink,
These are the colors of unconditional love and that heart chakra.
With each breath that you take,
This sphere grows brighter and larger until it fills your entire chest with its warmth.
As the light expands,
Imagine it spreading outward,
Maybe flowing into your shoulders,
Down your arms,
And into your hands.
Feel it traveling upward to your neck and your face,
Softening and soothing as it moves.
Perhaps you can picture it cascading down your torso,
Maybe even flowing into your legs and reaching all the way up to your toes and your fingers.
As you breathe and this energy expands,
You are now completely surrounded by this loving energy,
Completely cocooned in a field of light that feels warm,
Safe,
And comforting.
As you continue to breathe here and rest in this light,
Perhaps silently or aloud you can repeat these affirmations to yourself.
And with each statement,
Feel the energy of the words as if they were already true for you.
Notice what that energy feels like to you.
So as you continue to breathe and rest in this energy,
Perhaps you say to yourself,
I am worthy of love and kindness.
I want you to feel the warmth of this truth vibrating in your heart.
It's like a deep knowing that love is your birthright.
Perhaps you say to yourself,
I am enough just as I am.
And as you breathe,
Imagine a wave of acceptance washing over you,
Perhaps dissolving any need to prove yourself to anything or anyone.
Perhaps you say to yourself,
I love and accept myself completely.
Envision this love,
You can envision it flowing through every cell of your body,
Nourishing you from the inside out.
Now let these affirmations sink into your being.
I want you to feel the energy of worthiness,
Peace,
And self-compassion spreading through you as if it were already an intrinsic part of who you already are.
Perhaps you gently bring your awareness back to your breath.
As you take a moment to express gratitude to yourself for taking this time for self-care,
To the Reiki energy for its healing presence,
And to the universe for its unconditional love and support.
As you deepen the breath here,
Perhaps you slowly begin to wiggle your toes,
Your fingers,
Bring your awareness and movement back to your body and your awareness back to this present moment.
When you feel ready,
You can flutter the eyes open and return to this present moment.
As you continue your day,
Perhaps you carry this sense of self-love and inner peace with you throughout your day.
My wish is,
May I be filled with love and compassion and may this love radiate outward to all beings.
