Hello my loves,
My name is Chris and welcome back to another guided meditation.
Today we'll go over a springtime morning gratitude meditation.
This meditation is best done in the morning upon waking up but can be done anytime throughout the day whenever you need to readjust your energy.
So as you begin your day or as you recalibrate your energy throughout the day,
Allow yourself this moment of stillness,
A chance to open up your heart just to the simple and beautiful gifts all around you.
Gratitude has the power to shift your mindset,
Ease stress,
And bring more joy and abundance into your life.
Even on days that feel heavy or uncertain,
Choosing to focus on what is good and true can reconnect you to a sense of peace and possibility.
This simple practice can lift your energy,
It can align you with the present moment,
And it can gently transform the way you move throughout your day.
So find a comfortable seated position,
Or lie down if you prefer,
Maybe we'll gently close the eyes and place the hands anywhere comfortably on the body or at its side.
We'll all take a deep nourishing breath in,
And then slowly let it go,
Maybe open the mouth.
Again deep breath in,
Open the mouth,
Let it out.
One more time,
Deep breath in,
Open the mouth,
Let it out.
This time,
Each time you inhale,
Maybe you can feel that fresh energy as it enters your body,
And then as you exhale slowly,
Release any more tension or any heaviness that resides in the body.
Breathe deeply here.
I want you to imagine the warmth of gentle spring sun as it's just touching your skin.
This light and this sun,
It's soft and it's uplifting,
And it's full of life.
With each breath,
Allow yourself to arrive more fully and fully into this new day.
Now as you continue to breathe here,
Feel the crown of your head as it gently lifts towards the sky.
As you do this,
The shoulders begin to relax and melt down,
Your hands continue to rest softly wherever they're at,
And your heart is open and it's at ease.
Now bring to your mind something from nature that you might be thankful for today.
We see with the changing of seasons and the cycles of nature,
There are many things that change and to be thankful for.
So maybe this season,
You look outside or you think to yourself that you're thankful for the blooming flowers.
Maybe the singing birds that you hear and see more frequently at this time.
It could be the vibrant green trees that are beginning to come back to life.
Let yourself feel connected to this beautiful living world,
A world that is always offering its gifts freely.
So whatever that is,
I want you to take a deep breath in,
And as you exhale here,
Just rest in that gratitude for the natural world around you.
Keep breathing here.
And now that we look at our outer world and nature,
Perhaps we can move more inner into ourselves as we begin to bring to our mind something more personal that you're grateful for this morning.
It could be something simple as the comfort of your bed,
The light of the new day,
Or even my favorite,
Just the breath in your lungs.
Let that feeling of gratitude gently fill your heart like a warm golden light as it's expanding within you.
And now silently or softly repeat after me.
Say to yourself,
I greet this day with an open heart.
I am grateful for all that I have and all that is on its way.
Today,
I choose joy,
Kindness,
And peace,
And my favorite,
I am grateful for all the opportunities that the universe has in store for me today,
And that are aligning me to my path.
So take one more deep nourishing breath in,
And exhale it out,
Sending gratitude out into the world.
Know that wherever you are at,
May you see this beauty around you throughout your day and within you more and more clearly.
You'll begin to wiggle the toes,
The fingers,
Gently rock the head,
And bring your hands to prayer at heart's center as you bow your head down to the great wise teacher that resides in each and every one of us,
Thanking you all for coming and sharing this practice today.
The God light and everything good inside me bows and honors the God light and everything good inside each and every one of you.
Namaste.
Love you all.
