Settle into a position that allows you as much ease and grace as your body can access today.

Negotiate with the parts of you that are touching the floor or the furniture to find as much balance as you can,

As much neutrality as your body will allow today.

And taking a breath in for nourishment as you breathe out,

Closing your eyes.

And at this time of year where there is a balance between light and dark,

Often things can feel out of balance within us or around us.

And in many countries that are experiencing a transition into autumn,

It's juxtaposed with life speeding up,

Whether in rhythm with schools or university,

Or later on moving towards cultural celebrations.

And gathering.

So this is an offer of a space to slow down,

To come into balance with yourself in this point of shifting between summer and autumn.

And I invite you to notice where you're at with your balance,

Whether in your body,

In your work-life balance,

In your balance with boundaries,

Your balance between giving and receiving.

Whatever comes to heart or mind for you.

Notice what feels out of balance and what that's like,

What the impact on you is.

If there's anything you need to shift around that,

Or if it's just how it is at the moment,

And notice what feels in balance.

And again,

What's that like?

How is that impacting you?

How is your light and dark?

Your rhythm?

How is your balance between being and doing?

Between action and movement and rest and expansion?

And thinking of balance and how things shift.

And at this time of shifting from summer into autumn,

A season of transition,

Of release.

Notice what's shifting in you at the moment.

What's shifting in you in this phase of your life?

What are you preparing to release?

And what are you preparing to welcome in?

And what do you need to call forth in yourself or gift yourself or even reach out for to support you in that releasing and in that welcoming?

And what will you need as you shift towards wintering?

What preparations might you need to make?

What might you need to strip back or simplify?

How do you need to nourish yourself throughout autumn?

And then taking a breath in,

Placing your hand on your heart and one on your belly.

Connecting in with your core,

Your heart space,

And your depths of creation.

And also connecting in with the parts of you that have you held,

Have you anchored and rooted.

And know these points,

These parts of you,

The stability,

Creation,

And love.

Whatever season you're in,

These points are here for you to connect in with,

To access,

And also to nourish and nurture.

They need tending to,

To resource us well.

While you're here,

Breathing in for nourishment and breathing out to release.

Autumn is a wonderful journey of release.

Nature's showing us the beauty of surrender,

Of letting go,

To sustain,

To rest and renew.

So choosing how you want to take this energy,

This way of being,

Into whatever is next for you,

At whatever point of the day,

Wherever you're at in your life.

Be conscious about how you want to take this energy,

This reflection forward.

And taking a breath in,

And as you breathe out,

Open your eyes.
