This Yoga Nidra will be based on the I Am Yoga Nidra lineage. Our Yama this week is about Satya- speaking our truth. Use this Intention "I allow myself to speak my truth so that I can find my true self." We'll use bumblebee breath and cold/hot for our integration. This nidra will help you ground and find your inner connection to find the strength to speak your truth.

Just allow yourself to just settle and close your eyes and quiet your mind and be still.

Let go of all thoughts,

Worry,

Intention,

Relax,

Trust,

And let go.

Now breathe in fully and exhale with a deep sigh.

And again,

Breathe in fully and exhale with a deep sigh.

And let go even more.

Feel a deep sense of peace and contentment in your heart and bring your awareness to our intention as I repeat it.

Let your whole body listen to what I say.

I allow myself to speak my truth so that I might find my true self and recognize that your body has been a trusted vehicle,

Creating accomplishments and contributions to the best of its ability.

Now it's time for your body to rest.

Now I'll guide you in the next phase to enter a subtler level of relaxation through bumblebee sound and breath.

So using your thumbs to gently come up towards your ears,

Place them around your ear flaps and your fingertips.

Rest just gently on your head.

And here in a moment,

I'm going to have you close the ear flaps and take a breath in and make the sound of the bumblebee by making the humming sound.

And we'll do it for five rounds of breath.

So go ahead and close your ear flaps just enough so you can still hear me.

Take a breath in and hum.

And now stop.

You can bring your arms by your sides,

Cover your arms if you'd like and be still.

Bring your total undivided attention to your whole body and feel the stimulating impact of the vibrations extending throughout your whole body.

Notice how your attention feeds your energy.

Now bring your attention to the brow center and empty your mind into the flood of energy and drop into complete silence and deep stillness and feel yourself descending down into the silence beneath the mind.

Feel what's ever present without labels or comments and let go.

Let go even more.

And as we enter this next phase of yoga nidra,

Try to remain as motionless as possible.

If you need to move or make an adjustment,

Do so mindfully and then return to stillness as soon as you're able.

Resolve to remain awake,

Staying in touch with the sound of my voice.

Allow your entire body to respond to my words directly and non-mentally.

Allow any disturbances external or internal to draw you more deeply within.

Let your mind merge and melt into the energy body and go beyond the boundaries of body and mind.

Now shift from thinking and doing to feeling and being.

Do absolutely nothing from now on.

Simply relax.

And as you breathe in through your nose,

Fill your lungs fully and completely and without strain.

And as you exhale,

Gently do so through softly pursed lips as if you're blowing through a straw.

Let it be prolonged,

Steady stream of breath and empty your lungs completely.

Breathe in completely and breathe out without strain.

Each time you exhale,

Empty your mind of all anticipations and empty your body of all tension.

And as you inhale,

Fill your heart with joy and continue with this breath,

Constant attention and detached awareness,

Filling the lungs completely as you breathe in and exhaling through softly pursed lips.

And each time you inhale,

Drop into a deeper level of silent awareness.

The breath is calm,

The mind is silent,

Body is relaxed,

Heart is unconditionally open.

And now return your breath to normal breathing and turn your attention inward.

Experience the powerful impact of vibratory energetic pulsation in the form of sensation in your body.

Let your mind melt and merge into it.

And now bring your total undivided attention to the brow center and drop into the deepest level of silent stillness,

Peace and harmony.

And drop into that silent space where all doing stops.

Enter an effortless state being.

Now bring the sensation of cold to each body part as I name it.

Maintain detached awareness.

Both feet icy and wet,

Both knees biting cold and piercing the skin,

Thighs and hips ice cold,

Abdomen,

Chest and back chilled to the very bone,

Shoulders,

Arms and palms frigid,

Shaking the whole body cold,

Chilled to the bone,

Shivering and chattering.

Now shift your attention and bring a sense of warmth to the whole body as if you were sitting in front of a fire.

Both feet warm and dry,

Both knees glowing from heat from the closeness of the fire,

Thighs and hips warm,

Abdomen,

Chest and back radiating heat,

Shoulders,

Arms and palms filled with heat,

The whole body radiating heat,

The whole body warm and lying in the sun.

Now rest back in neutral awareness and witness the whole body held in absolute stillness.

Now feel as if you're a seed planted in the soil.

It's dark,

Moist and cool.

You know you're here to experience the sun.

You can feel its warmth and energy penetrating through the soil,

Showing you which direction to go.

You send out a tiny shoot,

Breaking the surface of the ground above and at the same time sending roots down deep into the earth for support and nourishment.

Feel yourself growing up towards the light of the sun,

Higher and higher and bursting forth into your full expression as a tree.

See the tree that you are.

You don't need to compare yourself with other trees,

For you are incomparably unique just as you are.

You are you,

Standing fully now in yourself just as you are.

Feel yourself expressing your full potential as a tree,

Alive,

Vibrant,

Full of life-giving energy.

The light that made you emanates from within you.

The more you embrace the tree that you are,

The more that light shines through you.

Now bring your attention to the center between your eyebrows and drop into the deepest level of relaxation.

Here there remains nothing to do or achieve.

You've entered the domain of grace.

You are witness of all that is happening,

But doing nothing to make it happen.

Remain empty and free from all doing.

Hear your intention and your affirmations are actualized and fulfilled with effortless ease.

Allow yourself to receive the following intention as I repeat it.

Feel every cell of your body receiving these words.

I allow myself to speak my truth so that I might find my true self.

I allow myself to speak my truth so that I might find my true self.

I allow myself to speak my truth so that I might find my true self.

Allow this intention to go to the deepest levels of recognition with no hesitation.

Know that your higher self recognizes,

Honors,

And accepts your intention.

Have faith and trust that it's been heard and is being acted upon by a higher power of the source within you.

There's no need for you to do anything about it.

And bring your attention back to the center between the eyebrows and feel all the energies of your body from all meridians activated,

Purified,

And balanced.

The life force is flowing freely,

Healing the body and calming the mind.

Open your heart and feel content.

Establish yourself firmly in faith and trust to receive the grace,

Protection,

And guidance of the higher self within you.

The more often you go to your source,

The easier it will be to return there and the longer you can stay.

Feel the presence of your own spiritual guides surrounding you and blessing you.

Accept their blessing and grace.

Embody it and spread it wherever you go.

You are the emissary of light and love.

If you have an area that you feel needs healing,

Physical,

Mental,

Or emotional,

Allow this light and love to flow to that area now.

And now begin to become aware of the rising and falling of the breath.

And slowly start to feel yourself beginning to rise to the surface of awareness.

Sense the body resting on the floor.

And gradually you can begin to move as if waking from a restful sleep.

It might feel nice to bend the knees and slowly bring them in towards your chest.

Taking your time,

There's no rush here.

Gently turn to one side and let your head rest on your arm for a moment and bring your intention back into your awareness.

I allow myself to speak my truth so that I might find my true self.

And every time you find yourself in reaction,

You are empowered to replace it with your intention.

And if you're ready,

You can gradually move and start to set up with your eyes still closed.

And regardless of what you consciously recognize that has or has not changed,

Know that something deep within you has shifted and slowly start to bring your awareness back to your body.

Bring a deep sense of peace and contentment with you as you bring your awareness back to the body.
