Welcome friend.
This is a short sweet practice to reset and rebalance your energy anytime you feel called to do so.
You can be seated for this practice or you can even find a wall and lean against it or a tree.
It can really be anywhere.
It can even lie down.
So go ahead and find your place where you want to do your practice.
And close your eyes,
Bringing your awareness to your breath.
Just simply placing your mind on your breath.
And take a deep breath in through your nose and out through your mouth.
Two more times in through your nose,
Out your mouth,
And in and out.
And then bring your awareness to where the air is coming in and out of your nostrils.
You don't need to take your hands to your face or do any particular kinds of gestures.
Just doing a visual alternate nose breathing practice.
Breathing in through the left nostril as best you can.
And then imagining that air flowing out the right nostril.
Breathing in through the right nostril.
And out the left.
In through the left.
Out through the right.
In through the right.
Out through the left.
Continue that a few more rounds on your own,
Tracing the breath with your mind.
When you're done with the round that you're on,
Just take a deep breath in through both nostrils again.
And out your mouth.
And then bring your awareness to the energy in the front of the body and in the back of the body.
And you might make little adjustments to literally place your body differently to balance this energy that you can sense going out the front of the body and out the back of the body.
Or it might just be that you shift your awareness and you notice that there's more flowing one way or the other.
But by just you becoming aware and trying to guide more energy into whichever of those directions it seems to be needed.
That just by placing your awareness there,
Your intention there,
The energy flows there at least more so than before.
Being very gentle with yourself.
With the goal in mind of having equal energy flowing out the front of the body as the back of the body.
Take a deep breath in through your nose,
Out through your mouth,
Landing in the center of those places,
Knowing that wherever you have gotten is good enough.
And then bringing your awareness to the right and the left sides of your body.
And doing that same thing,
Maybe perhaps there's a physical adjustment to be made ever so subtle,
Maybe not at all.
But more importantly,
Bring your awareness and knowing that where your awareness goes,
Energy will flow.
And just steering your energy,
Your energetic feel to as best of a place as you can find right now where you feel equal on the right and the left sides.
You might scan the size of your face,
Your shoulders,
Your hips,
Your feet.
And then take a deep breath in through your nose,
Out through your mouth,
Knowing that you've landed enough in the center right now.
And then bring your awareness to the lower body and the upper body.
And again,
Just noticing where there might be less or more energy.
And wherever there is more energy,
You can ask that to soften and shift to where there is less.
And just seeing an equal amount of energy,
Feeling an equal amount of energy,
It's a little different for all of us,
So just see what works for you.
Landing in as best of a place as you can with the lower body and the upper body.
Feel about the same.
And then take a deep breath in through your nose and out through your mouth,
Knowing that you've landed right where you're meant to be right now.
And then just becoming aware of an equal-ish field of energy all around you.
Below,
Above,
In front,
Behind,
Side to side,
And everything in between.
And allow yourself to just sit in this place of equilibrium for a few more breaths,
Knowing that you are loved and supported.
However and wherever you are right now in your life.
And then to conclude your practice,
If it feels right to you,
You can bring your hands one on top of the other at your chest.
If not,
You can leave them wherever they are.
And just take three deep breaths into the belly and the heart and out from the belly and the heart.
And then from that place of knowing that you are loved and supported exactly as you are right now,
