Find a comfortable,
Quiet space where you feel supported.
You can sit or lie back,
Whatever allows your body to feel at ease and for you to be able to comfortably enter the off-switch position.
That's both hands placed right over your root,
Gently cupping this pelvic space.
This is a place to begin again.
It's a position of presence,
Safety,
And reconnection.
If you live with chronic pain,
You know how exhausting it can be,
How it chips away at your trust in your own body,
But this practice is a moment to reclaim your power,
To interrupt the pain cycle with softness instead of force.
Closing your eyes,
Take a slow breath in through your nose and exhale through your mouth,
Letting yourself arrive fully.
Inhale again deeply into your belly,
Allowing it to rise beneath your hands.
Exhale slowly,
Letting the weight of your body drop into support.
Now with each breath,
Feel your hands reminding your nervous system it's okay to soften.
This gentle touch you're offering yourself is not just comfort,
It's communication.
It tells your body we are not in danger here.
Let your breath deepen naturally and feel it like a wave.
It carries your truth,
Your healing.
Let this light fill the entire pelvic bowl,
Surrounding every nerve ending,
Muscle fiber,
And memory stored here.
But to witness it with love,
With each exhale let go of fear,
Tightness,
Or the need to control.
Now gently repeat,
Either out loud or in your mind,
My body is wise,
Even in pain.
I am rebuilding trust with myself,
Breath by breath.
My pleasure,
My healing,
My power.
I am safe to return to the activities and joy that light me up when I can honor and respect my body's wishes.
This is where it starts.
Not in doing more,
But in being with what's needed.
Before we bring anyone else into our healing,
We begin with us.
With a quiet act of placing our hands on our root and saying,
I am here with you.
Every moment of presence is a step toward coming home to your body and your life.
Off the unnecessary pain.
So that we can live with joy and pleasure and vitality.
