Find a quiet,

Comfortable space where you can be undisturbed for a few moments.

Gently close your eyes and take a deep breath in through your nose,

Filling up your belly,

Your ribs,

Your chest,

And exhale slowly through your mouth,

Letting everything soften.

Let's do that again.

Inhale deeply,

Expanding,

Creating space,

And exhale.

One more time.

Inhale,

Filling up with your breath,

With life,

And exhale.

Now allow your breath to settle into a natural rhythm,

Feeling the gentle rise and fall of your belly,

The sacred home that has nourished your baby all in one over your belly.

Bring awareness to your body.

Feel the weight of your hips,

The strength in your legs,

And the openness in your chest.

Your body knows exactly what to do.

It has been creating life,

Expanding,

Shifting,

And preparing in perfect rhythm.

Let that really land for you.

Your body knows exactly what it's doing.

There is an intelligence within us,

Within our babies.

Take a moment to connect with your baby.

Breathe in deeply,

Sending warmth,

Love,

And reassurance to the life growing within you.

And as you exhale,

Imagine a golden thread connecting your heart to your baby's heart,

Unbreakable and strong.

Imagine yourself continuing to walk down this path.

This is the threshold of birth.

Placing your hands on your heart and belly,

The power in your breath,

The connection you have to your body.

Now repeat these affirmations either silently in your mind or softly aloud.

Each surge,

Each sensation brings me closer to my baby.

My baby and I are working together in perfect harmony.

And as you exhale,

Imagine any remaining tension melting away.

Your body is wise.

Your intuition is clear.

You are fully present in your power.

Slowly bring awareness back to the space around you.

Close your eyes.

Gently roll your shoulders and when you're ready,

Open them.
