Blessings!

My name is Brenda Carey and I'm a Holistic Healer for Highly Sensitive Souls.

It is my honor to guide you through this mindfulness practice to embrace joy,

Happiness,

And love right where you are.

So let's begin.

You can begin in any posture that feels comfortable for you,

Where you will not be disturbed for a few short minutes.

Let's begin by taking a deep breath in through your nose and exhale with a cleansing breath out.

Now with your eyes open,

Take a moment to look around the room or space that you are in.

Find one thing or person that brings you a little happiness.

This could be something very simple.

As you focus on this thing or person that brings you happiness,

Take a deep breath in,

Acknowledging this feeling and visualize it filling your heart space.

Feel your heart expand.

And when you are ready to exhale,

Softly say to yourself or out loud,

Thank you.

Now you can keep your eyes open or close the eyes down to turn more inward.

Think of one thing,

Person,

Situation,

Or circumstance that has happened today that has brought you joy.

Again,

It doesn't have to be anything big.

It could be something as simple as a bite of your favorite food or the beauty of a natural object like a tree outside or a house plant nearby.

Take a deep breath in,

Recognizing this joy and imagine it flowing into your heart space.

Feel your heart expand.

And when you exhale,

Softly saying to yourself or out loud,

Thank you.

Finally,

Turning your attention inward and think of one aspect of yourself that you truly respect and admire,

Not based on what you do.

It might be something small,

Even something you take for granted,

Like your empathy or your honesty.

Breathe in this quality,

Letting it fill your ever expanding heart space.

And when you exhale,

Say thank you and offer gratitude to yourself just as you are.

Now take a moment to feel the peace and connection this practice has created for you.

May you see the beauty of your everyday surroundings and the people you encounter.

Most importantly,

The uniqueness of who you are.

And so it is.
