Settle into your seat.
Press your feet into the ground beneath you.
Sit up tall without forcing it.
Let your shoulders drop away from your ears.
Release your jaw.
Soften your gaze.
Take a slow inhale through the nose and a soft sigh out through the mouth.
Again,
Breathing in through your nose,
Filling your lungs,
Expanding your ribcage.
Exhale,
Letting the breath fall away from you.
Now,
Bring one hand to your chest,
One hand to your abdomen.
As you continue to breathe here,
Noticing where the breath wants to go today.
If it feels like it's sitting in just one part of your body or if it feels even and steady.
No fixing,
Just noticing.
We're going to use a gentle flowing breath to tap into that flow state of productivity.
Try to keep your breathing smooth and continuous without taking a pause at the top or the bottom.
Inhale through the nose,
Exhale through the nose.
Inhale,
Exhale.
Like a steady wave breaking on the shore and rolling right back out to sea.
Beautiful.
Trying to build some momentum here to keep things rolling smoothly.
Inhale,
Exhale.
Inhale,
Exhale.
Each breath bringing you closer to clarity,
To flow.
Each time you exhale,
Closing down a mental tab in your brain,
Crossing something off your to-do list,
Putting it to the side.
Narrowing your focus,
Clearing space,
So that you can zone in on what's important.
That's it.
Gathering your energy,
Releasing distractions,
Resetting,
Recommitting with each breath.
Inhale,
Exhale.
You are right here,
Right now.
And in this moment,
You only have one focus.
Calling that focus to mind,
Affirming to yourself that you are ready to give your full attention to it.
Nothing else matters in this moment except for your one focus.
And you are completely aware and capable of working on it.
Exhaling to release.
Allowing your breathing to become natural again.
Noticing a sense of presence,
Of awareness within your body and your mind.
Everything's a little more organized,
A little more ready.
Gently opening the eyes if they were closed,
Taking a stretch or a shake.
You know the next steps you need to take.
Now,
It's time to go do it.
