Welcome to today's meditation.
My name is Lina and I will guide you through today's session.
This meditation will help you to connect to your inner child,
The little person who represents who you truly are.
The purest,
Perfect version of you.
The little soul who needs to be nurtured by you every day.
Our belief systems are all rooted in our subconscious and are created by the time we turn seven.
This meditation will help you to give your inner child the safe space to reflect,
Share with you traumas,
Memories that might give you limiting beliefs,
Try walking and influencing how you take action and make decisions today.
Please go into this meditation without judgment or expectation,
Or how you want this to go and just let it flow.
Whenever you're ready,
Close your eyes.
Imagine you're standing on top of a set of stairs and at the end of it there's a door.
I will count back from ten and with every step you will go deeper and deeper in relaxation.
You start walking down ten,
Nine,
Eight,
Deeper and deeper,
Seven,
Six,
Five,
Four.
Think deeper and deeper into relaxation,
Three,
Two,
One.
And you're fully relaxed.
You arrived in front of the door,
You open it and walk through.
And you walk into your safe space,
A place where you feel loved,
Listened to,
A place where you can be yourself without judgment or expectations.
This might be a forest,
The mountains,
The beach,
Wherever you feel safe and peaceful and accepted.
In the distance you can see a little girl playing on the ground.
You walk up to her and recognize yourself as a little child.
Sit there next to her and wait for her to recognize you.
You can tell her that you are here now.
She's safe and you won't let anyone hurt her ever again.
Tell her that there's a few things you want to ask her whenever she's ready.
You can ask her now if she remembers the first time she experienced trauma,
Sadness or anything that she wants to share with you,
That she knows you need to know.
Remind her that she's safe and she can tell you anything.
You love and accept her whatever happens.
Listen to her without judgment or any expectations.
Once she shared her memories with you,
Tell her that you're sorry she had to experience that,
That her feelings are valid,
Listened to and whatever she says you won't leave her ever again.
Tell her whatever you feel like she needs to feel nurtured,
Loved and safe.
Tell her that she's perfect,
How much you love her,
How much she means to you,
Whatever you need,
Whatever you feel like you need to tell her.
If she wants to tell you something more,
Listen to her.
Whenever you're ready,
You can tell her that she's safe now and you won't leave her.
You can walk back to the door either with or without her,
Whatever you feel comfortable with.
This is a process,
There's no right or wrong.
Know that you can come back whenever you feel the need for deeper connection.
Walk back to the door,
Open it,
Walk through and close it behind you.
When you start walking up the stairs,
With every step you're going to come back more and more into the present moment.
By the time I reach one,
You're going to be fully present.
Ten,
Nine,
Eight,
You might start to feel your body again.
Seven,
Six,
Five,
You might hear some noises from the outside,
Four,
Three,
You're almost fully present.
Two and one,
And you're on the top of the stairs fully present in this moment with me.
Whatever came up,
Journal it out,
Write it down,
Talk to someone about it if you feel the need.
You can write down the affirmations you told your inner child and repeat it to yourself through the day.
Come back to this meditation whenever you feel like connecting to your inner child,
Or experiencing fear,
Self-sabotage,
Doubt,
Or emotions that don't serve you.
Connecting to your true self and your inner child takes time,
But reprogramming our subconscious is the best way to stop ourselves from self-sabotage,
To start loving and accepting ourselves.
