Make yourself comfortable.

Gently closing your eyes.

And just breathe.

In whatever way feels good to you,

Begin to bring relaxation and comfort to each part of the body.

Take a deep breath in.

And as you exhale,

Allow your body to relax even more.

Notice the gentle rise of your chest as you breathe deeply and freely.

And let each breath bring you more relaxation as you gently let go.

Feel yourself letting go.

Imagine breathing in the softest,

Lightest air.

Air that nourishes you.

And makes you feel lighter.

Let it gently flow into your body and spread out to every cell.

Feel the light,

Soft air flowing into your every cell.

Notice your eyes and let your eyelids soften.

Give your eyes a well deserved rest by keeping them closed.

Notice any pictures or colours or sensations in your eyes.

Now notice your mouth.

Notice any tastes and sensations that may linger there.

Notice your nose and feel the air as it flows through your nostrils.

Notice any smells or sensations.

Notice what you notice.

Now relax your face,

Your cheeks,

Your forehead.

The top of your head.

And your ears.

Notice any sounds you hear nearby or further away in the distance.

Notice any sounds you hear in the distance.

Relax your neck.

Feel how your breath creates space and a sense of lightness in your neck.

Invite your breath to flow into your shoulders,

Into your arms,

Hands and fingertips.

Notice the sensations as this soft gentle air moves into your body.

Let it flow into your chest,

Into your belly,

Along your spine.

Creating more and more relaxation and comfort in your body.

Now let it flow into your lower back,

To your buttocks,

Down your legs,

Ankles,

Feet and toes.

Notice any sounds you hear in the distance.

Feel what it feels like to breathe in this soft light air into every part of your body.

And just notice what you notice.

Now I will guide your attention to some of the things you can be grateful for in this exact moment.

I will first bring your awareness to your breath and take a few deep satisfying breaths.

And notice that your body knows how to breathe.

And notice that each of these breaths give you life.

Each breath is a gift it is given to you.

Now notice your heart,

Your heart beating strong.

Notice how your body knows how to breathe.

Notice how your body knows how to make your heart beat.

Your heart letting you feel love,

Compassion and peace.

Now notice your eyes,

Your eyes that enable you to see colour,

Faces,

Beautiful smiles,

The richness of nature,

A sunrise,

A sunset,

A rainbow,

The moon,

The stars,

Yourself in the mirror.

Now notice your ears that let you enjoy gentle sounds,

Music,

Laughter,

Voices of those you love,

Silence,

Sounds of life and sounds of nature.

Now consider your nose enabling you to savour the delicate scent of flowers,

Freshly baked bread,

Herbs and spices,

Your favourite perfume and newly washed sheets.

Consider your lips and mouth that can taste and kiss,

Speak,

Whisper and sing.

Consider your hands that can hold,

Touch,

Caress,

Create and applaud.

Your arms and shoulders that can carry and hug and lift and stretch.

Your feet and toes that allows you to dance,

To run,

Leap and balance.

Consider you as a human being who can learn,

Grow,

Evolve,

Love,

Have empathy,

Compassion,

Grace,

There's so much to be grateful for in this exact moment.

Think of times in your life where you felt a deep sense of gratitude.

Notice where in your body it lives.

Feel it.

Know that you can call on this feeling anytime.

You can live this feeling anytime.

It lives in you.

Let yourself linger in this feeling of gratitude.

Allow it to spread out.

Radiate out from you.

Notice who you are when you live in gratitude.

Who are you being when you live in gratitude?

Stay with this feeling for a while.

And then when you're ready,

Gently begin to come back.

I thank you as always for joining me.

I'm glad you were here.
