The purpose of this meditation is to ground the mind with the inner vibration of om. We do this by saying om to ourselves through japa meditation. This gives the mind a vibrational input that move it away from sitting in usual thought patterns.

Then gently let your eyes close and if for any reason that doesn't work for you the other instruction is to have your eyes just maybe like an eighth of the way open so the light comes in and then notice that you're breathing.

You don't have to do anything particular with it just notice that you are breathing.

So the first part of this is going to be OMing out loud and then we're going to OM to ourselves.

So I will start OMing you can join in with me you don't have to be exactly with me whenever your breath comes out you can OM kind of just roll your OMs let that vibration of OM be in your body but most importantly let yourself hear the OMs let that OM sort of like infuse your mind with the sound you don't have to sound good or bad it's just the vibration of the sound itself.
