Hello and welcome to Day 6,
Seize the Day,
The final day of Gratitude and Inner Stillness series.
I am Brandon with Be Good to Yourself Meditation.
Today you get to seize the day.
Tomorrow is full of possibility.
Let's get you set up.
Your phone is on silent.
You have a pen and paper.
You have the comforts you need like a blanket,
Pillow,
Eye mask,
Hydration.
And as you approach your day.
Your list of to do's or the thoughts of tomorrow's to do's may come into your mind.
So take a moment to journal.
Or list what you want to accomplish.
Clearing out the list by brain dumping.
So that you can be fully present in this moment of gratitude.
Take one minute.
My voice will be quiet.
As you fully brain dump what is on your mind.
There is no right or wrong way,
Just dump it all out.
And now that you've been able to write,
If you need more time,
Go ahead and pause this and come back when you're ready.
But it is time to close your eyes.
Taking in a deep breath in through your nose.
Traveling up your spine.
Holding it at the top of your head.
And when you are ready,
Taking an audible exhale.
Letting go.
Of everything that you dumped out on paper,
Whatever was on your mind.
Taking one more deep breath in.
Pausing at the top of your head.
And letting it out with an audible exhale.
We're ready to come into this moment for you.
Bringing your breath now to in through your nose.
And out through your nose.
You letting your mind and body settle right here.
Feeling the breath as it flows through you.
Slowing the breath down till it is a comfortable rhythm of relaxation.
Feeling your forehead release.
Corners of your eyes to soften.
Your jaw to drop and let go.
Her shoulders to melt away from her neck.
And completely release.
Feeling the breath move to your solar plexus.
Just below your belly button.
And fill the belly with the air on the in-breath.
And as you let the breath go,
The belly relaxes.
We're breathing in the possibilities and making the most of your day.
Accomplishing what is important while keeping a calm approach to your tasks.
Knowing your intuition will guide you to success.
And if you have any thoughts flooding into your mind.
Come back to your breath.
Breathing in seas.
And breathing out the day.
Breathing in seas.
And breathing out the day.
Today you are seizing the day.
Breathing in seas.
And breathing out.
The day.
The corners of your eyes are melted.
Your shoulders are dropped.
Your whole body is at ease.
You begin to visualize yourself in a beautiful park.
And off in the distance,
You see the sun peeking up over the horizon.
The day is just beginning.
Your mind is clear.
You can feel the warmth of the sun as it starts to rise.
The beauty in all its colors.
And you have a feeling of such gratitude that you can just be right here watching and enjoying the sunrise.
No place to go.
Nothing on your mind.
Just thankful for being still in this moment as the sun starts your day.
This moment is for you.
A moment to seize the day by taking time for your mental well-being.
And for your heart to be full of gratitude.
Continuing to watch the sunrise.
Feeling its warmth in the beautiful sun rays that bathe over you.
My voice will be quiet as a gentle smile grows on your lips and that smile spreads throughout your body and into your mind.
Letting all that gratitude drift within you as you listen from within for any guidance in seizing the day.
And coming back to my voice.
You can feel the excitement and seizing the day.
Making the most out of what you were given.
You may have some things that you want to accomplish.
You may have a sense of peace that you can take with you.
The choice is yours.
You are given so many blessings daily.
And when you focus on being grateful,
There is so much beauty that surrounds you.
Begin to awaken your body.
Stretching out your arms,
Rolling your neck,
Releasing.
Taking in three deep breaths as your body comes back to an awakened state.
You Really filling those breaths.
Taking one last moment to reflect on what you remember.
You and slowly begin to open your eyes because today is your moment to seize the day.
