Welcome to day five of your gratitude and inner stillness series.
I am Brandon,
Your guide with Be Good to Yourself Meditation.
I am grateful to have you here on day five.
Let's get you set up.
Your phone is on silent.
You are in a comfortable seated position for optimal breathing.
Grab any comforts you might need like a blanket,
A pillow in your lap.
Your pen and paper for journaling.
Hydration.
Maybe an eye mask or chapstick.
And take a moment to get set up in a comfortable position.
Today is about having a grateful day.
Begin to take in a few deep breaths in through your nose.
Traveling up your spine.
The back of your neck.
And holding it at the top of your head.
And then releasing any tension.
With an audible exhale out of your mouth.
Letting your body ground into this moment.
And again.
.
.
In through your nose with the visualization of your breath traveling up your spine.
Holding it at the top of your head.
Exhaling out your mouth.
Letting everything go.
And one more time on your own.
Your breath now comes to in through your nose.
And out through your nose.
Finding a steady rhythm.
So much that surrounds us in our daily lives can be adversities that create feelings of self-doubt.
Or confusion.
It is up to you to know in your heart that what you take in from your surroundings does not need to be digested within your heart and mind.
If you haven't already,
Make sure your eyes are closed,
You're seated position.
Checking in with the body to make sure it is able to be relaxed to fully fill into gratitude.
Your breath is a steady rhythm in through your nose.
And out through your nose.
Feeling your body melt into this position.
Starting with your forehead.
Feeling those muscles soften.
Corners of your eyes to release,
Melt down your cheeks.
Letting the jaw drop open.
Your tongue to settle into the bottom of your mouth.
Any tension in your neck to just let go and float away.
Releasing any restraints in your shoulders as your upper body becomes heavy.
With your breath of relaxation.
Your breath begins to slow down even more.
Focusing on in through the nose.
And out through the nose.
Checking in with your body.
Releasing your jaw just a little bit more.
Your shoulders releasing and melting down your back.
Your whole body is at ease.
As you are possibly starting your day.
Or maybe ending your day.
Take this time for you.
Knowing that you have the power to not let other energies or negative negativity affect you,
How you approach your life.
You can feel the beauty that is in any situation.
Whether you can see it.
Or just know in your heart there may be a lesson.
Maybe it's something that your positive energy can help towards a better outcome.
As you are bombarded through daily challenges and stimuli.
You approach each moment full of gratefulness.
Grateful you are alive.
Grateful you are focused on your mental health,
Which in turn will affect every aspect of your day.
Grateful for all the little things.
To fully surrender into gratitude.
You need to just be in this moment.
Just being.
Floating here.
Your mind is clear to fill your gratitude connection with the God,
Universe,
Spirit,
Source,
Whatever calls to you.
Checking in with your body's comfort.
Is it in the position it needs?
Continuing to follow your breath.
Comfortable rhythm,
Breathing in,
Letting go.
And breathing out,
Go.
Breathing in letting.
In,
Breathing out,
Go.
Staying with this for a few more breaths.
Just letting go.
Now notice if any thoughts that may be popping up.
Just recognize them.
And give them grace as they pass by.
Right now you are here.
Right here to just feel gratitude for connection to life.
You can feel a slight smile when the beauty in a moment shines.
Keeping your senses awake to see the things that you can be grateful for.
Take a moment to fill your heart with gratitude towards whatever comes into your path.
Your body will thank you for a weight lifted.
The lightness within oneself when you are filled with all the gratitude.
What are some little things that you can wake up and go to bed with feeling grateful for every day?
My voice will be quiet as you examine your daily steps and what you are grateful for.
Which can in turn create more abundance.
You And as you come back to the sound of my voice.
After fully letting go into this moment of gratitude for your day.
Begin to take in some deep inhalations.
Really feeling your breath.
Your body feels light and energized with the possibilities of today.
Remembering all the things that you are grateful for in your daily life.
Begin to awaken your body back into where you are now.
Wiggling your toes and feeling the breath travel up your legs.
Through your hips.
Into your belly with a deep breath.
Breathing in and landing in your chest.
Surrounding your heart with gratitude.
Taking a few deep breaths here around your heart.
When you're ready,
You can come back to where you are.
And open your eyes.
Grab your pen and paper to write out all the things that you are grateful for.
You can reflect on these items of gratitude.
Whenever you may need to rekindle the feeling of being grateful.
Having a fulfilling,
Grateful day.
