Hello,
And welcome to your third day of the Gratitude and Inner Stillness series.
I am Brandon,
An immersive meditation guide and coach with Be Good to Yourself Meditation.
Today we will focus on the abundance that surrounds you,
Which in turn brings more abundance into your life.
Let's begin to get set up to go within.
Make sure your phone is on silent.
Have a Do Not Disturb sign on your door if you are not home alone.
Grab your pen and paper,
Hydration,
A blanket,
Pillow,
Or eye mask as needed,
And get cozy in a seated position for more effective breath movements.
Start to focus on your breath as you breathe in through your nose,
Visualizing it traveling up your spine,
The back of your neck,
Through your head,
To pausing as you hold at the top of your head.
When you can no longer hold it in,
Let it all go with an audible exhale out of your mouth,
And again in through your nose,
Traveling up your spine,
The back of your neck,
Through your head,
And pausing at the top of your head,
And letting it all go.
One more time,
All on your own,
Starting to settle into this moment.
Letting your body release any stiffness,
And now bringing your breath to in through your nose,
And out through your nose,
As the body becomes weightless.
Feel your scalp tingle as all those little tension muscles let go,
Fading down your forehead,
Releasing,
Corners of your eyes melting down your cheeks as they drop and let go.
Your jaw muscles relax and drop open,
Feeling any tightness in your jaw dissipate,
Coming down through your neck,
Feeling a wave of relaxation as your neck elongates away from your shoulders,
Letting them melt down your back,
Releasing.
Your arms feel heavy at your sides,
Feeling the breath wash through your chest,
Down under your ribs as the breath washes away tension in your stomach,
Slowing the breath down as you feel your ribs flaring out to the side on the in breath,
And contracting in on the out breath,
Pausing here to focus on your ribs flaring and contracting for a few more breaths,
And if there is any noise,
Chatter running through your mind,
Take a moment to notice it,
Appreciate it,
And then let it wash down and out the bottoms of your feet,
The sensation of letting go of anything on your mind.
The breath is steady in through the nose,
And out through the nose.
As every inch of your body releases any last bits of tightness,
And the breath begins to flow at a natural pace for you,
Take a moment to scan your body,
Checking in with points that hold tension in your day to day life,
Let them release if you notice any tightness,
And just breathe,
In through the nose,
And out through the nose.
We as humans don't often take enough time to just listen to the silence,
To just be and appreciate what surrounds us.
I want you to picture yourself standing in a forest,
Tall trees all around,
The sun glistening rays through the branches,
Each tree represents moments throughout your life,
Moments that you have been appreciated,
Whether it be an act of another,
Something you've experienced,
Or just the people you love.
You have been surrounded your whole life by majestic moments in time.
Breathe into your heart,
And feel the love for all the abundance you have received in these moments.
Embrace the picture of faces,
Laughter,
Hugs,
Love,
The excitement in new experiences,
Carrying on old traditions.
Breathe it in.
Feel the embrace of the trees of abundance growing all around you.
Taking it all in,
Knowing you have been privileged to experience these moments.
Now begin to walk on a path that is in front of you,
Enjoying what surrounds you,
Breathing in the comfort of the forest.
You begin to see a clearing up ahead,
A beautiful meadow of possibility.
It is your choice to live in a life filled with abundance,
And you can feel this expansive meadow.
Every day with abundance in moments,
You give yourself silence to just listen and be grateful,
To stop and see the beauty that surrounds you.
You can plant a tree to fill this meadow every time you feel grateful for what you have,
The people you love,
The time you choose to spend doing things you love.
It is your time to choose what trees to plant in appreciation for all these moments.
What will you choose to keep the feeling of abundance filling your heart?
My voice will be quiet as you stand or sit in this meadow of possibility.
Listen to what comes to your heart and feel the soul with a sense of abundance.
And as you bring yourself back to the sound of my voice,
Take notice of any new feelings or moments of abundance that you were able to see.
Take a deep breath into your heart space,
Letting it feel light and loved.
Just knowing that you were full of gratitude,
Of abundance that surrounded you.
You can return to this forest or meadow,
Abundant or full of possibilities.
Begin to wiggle your toes,
Feeling the sensation coming up through your legs,
Into your hips,
Breathing across your shoulders and down your arms,
Opening and closing your hands,
Bringing yourself back to your body in this moment.
Maybe you need to roll your neck,
Stretch your arms,
Yawn,
Just coming back to you.
Keeping that vision of abundance.
There are so many moments that surround you in life.
And those moments can be what you need.
With one more deep inhalation,
Rest and write down anything that came to you,
Anything that you were thankful for today.
Have an abundant day.
