This breathing exercise stimulates powerful energetic forces inside of you to create a state of strength and calm. The ambient ocean gives you a visceral feeling of the natural energy that exists inside you and is always available. You can expect to feel energized, focused, more powerful, and ready to perform while also feeling incredibly calm, peaceful and grounded in your own inner strength.

Welcome to this guided breathwork session on the breathwork technique called the ocean breath.

Now the recording of the ocean that you hear is a real recording taken in Southeast Asia on a sandy beautiful beach and the idea behind the ocean breath is to cultivate all of the energy that we can experience see and feel in the ocean.

The ferocity and energy of the waves,

The general calmness of the ocean as a whole which contains all of the energy.

In addition the expansive quality that we can experience while being in or looking upon the ocean.

Our body can become a same kind of vassal,

Calm,

Strong,

Energized and expansive.

We just need to get in touch with those energies inside of us and so to begin this breathwork exercise all we're going to do is breathe through the nose twice and then out through the mouth in such a way that our exhale is significantly longer than our inhales.

Allow me to demonstrate one more time noticing the double inhale through the nose and the elongated exhale through the mouth.

There's no fixed ratio to the timing of the inhale to the exhale.

The beauty of this exercise is cultivating your own idea and your own feel and visceral felt sense of what those ratios should be for you.

The general rule however is again applying the double inhale followed by the elongated exhale and keep this going for the next three minutes to cultivate the energy of the ocean inside of you.

The thunder of the waves,

That stillness,

That calm,

That's power that's contained within the entire ocean.

It's also contained within you.

Breathing in twice and out through the mouth.

You can feel the ferocity of the ocean as you breathe in and that double inhale,

Those crashing waves but those waves are part of a bigger whole,

A calm,

Still,

Vast ocean and we can experience that on the exhale.

Breathing in that fearless energy of the ocean and experiencing the stillness,

The vastness of the entire ocean.

Keep going as long as you need until your body says it's enough.

Keep breathing and giving yourself permission to experience the ocean inside of you.

Have a wonderful day my friends.
