Breathwork is an easy practical way of controlling your breath in order to activate your nervous system and reduce your stress. This particular breathwork exercise is a fast and efficient way to increase your energy on a daily basis. It activates your fight-or-flight response in the nervous system in a healthy way which is ideal for overcoming fatigue and lowered mood states. In addition, over time it increases focus, memory, executive function, and creativity. Who is this exercise for? 1. Anyone who's job causes stress on a daily basis with a risk of burnout 2. And welcome to Breathwork for Instant Energy.

I just finished a great routine and I wanted to lend some of my energy and some of my kiai to all of you right through Insight Timer.

So this exercise is excellent because it opens up our capacity not only to feel energized,

But to improve executive function,

Memory,

Creativity,

And focus.

Now,

It's a high energy,

Sympathetic,

Activating breathwork exercise,

Which just means it will stimulate your fight or flight response.

So you don't wanna do it too often or too much.

Two or three times per day at maximum during those times in which you need to achieve peak performance in addition to when you may feel fatigued or tired.

So it's quite simple.

All you need to do is inhale sharply through the nose once and then exhale sharply through the nose again twice,

And do this for about 20 to 40 times during this guided recording.
