Make yourself comfortable,
Either seated or lying down.
Take a few deep breaths.
Notice the sensations from your body.
The feeling of your body against your clothes,
Your bed or chair.
Feel the tension,
Pains,
Discomfort and allow them to be there if they want.
You do not need to force relaxation.
Just allow everything to be as it is right now.
Take these minutes and allow yourself to release everything within you.
Now I want you to look for a connection with the feeling that everything will be alright.
A sensation or image might show up inside you.
Some might feel a connection with a mountain or a tree.
You might connect with a time or situation where you had this feeling.
Or you know of a person who exhibits this attitude or a fictional character who embodies this to you.
Imagine that situation or being that person.
Notice how this feels in your body.
Notice if that feeling or sensation can be allowed to spread to all parts of you and blossom.
With this connection imagine walking down a street and feeling the sun on your face.
And then facing some wind and rain still connected to the stability of knowing that everything will be alright.
Imagine facing a scary thought or situation where you might feel fear.
How does that fear feel like when you know everything will be alright?
Now imagine yourself during the day ahead living with this attitude.
Can you have this attitude no matter what challenges or inner experiences that you face?
Can even experiences of stress,
Hopelessness or fear be met with this attitude?
Feeling that they will pass and that everything will be alright.
Now imagine a situation where you are feeling immensely powerful or imagine a person or fictional character that embodies this.
Feeling powerful like you can face any challenges or any person.
A power that can include strength,
Confidence,
Energy and courageousness.
A power from which even showing yourself as vulnerable is safe.
Take a minute and explore this situation or how it feels to be the person you imagine.
And notice how this feeling manifests in your body.
Take a minute and let the sensation of being powerful and the sensation that everything will be alright mingle inside you and build on each other.
You might see them as colored light moving within you or in some other way.
Now if you wish you can choose a word that describes this to you.
That you can use to connect with these attitudes.
Imagine facing stressful situations or just ordinary day to day situations with this attitude,
Trust and power.
Explore if this attitude can give you a greater sense of freedom even in the darkest experiences you have.
Do you need to struggle with your feelings or thoughts when you have this connection?
You do not need to fight to keep the feeling of this attitude but allow it to come and go throughout the day.
If you want you can turn your attention towards it and listen to it if it's there in some form.
Even if it's not this is an attitude towards the world that you can choose to embody no matter how it feels.
You can choose to be free.
Imagine yourself waking up from this meditation and keeping this connection.
See yourself going about your day with these sensations and attitudes within you.
When you feel ready start to connect with the room you are in and slowly open your eyes.
Listen to what you notice within.
Is there a sparking sense of freedom?
An energetic feeling?
Or a deep feeling of needing to rest?
Whatever you notice let it be as it is.
You are free and powerful this morning and every moment throughout this day.
You do not have to see the Deep TheDemocraticPretend.
You do not have to do this for the entire world.
It belongs to you.
It belongs to you for all of us.
