In this first quarter moon phase, we leave behind child-like concerns and embrace our heroic adventurer. Through the meditation our courageous Self grasps and integrates the pillars of physical and spiritual strength, never forgetting the dark Mother Moon is the source of this power: out of the 1 comes the 2, the true meaning of the trinity. This guided meditation allows us to meet our innate spiritual and physical strengths as animals and see how comfortable we are embracing their energies.

And do they work well together?

Finally we see whether there's one animal which represents the synthesis of these animals,

The source of their strength.

Enjoy!

We're going to do a meditation to meet your physical strength and your spiritual strength and see how comfortable you are with both of them.

And when I'm talking about spiritual strength I'm not talking about religion necessarily,

I'm talking about the ability to connect to the spirit and also to be able to be strongly on this earth,

One no better than other please.

They are part of almost what one of them is energy more,

One of them is more in matter,

But I again I don't want you to get lost in that.

So are you ready to do a meditation?

Because what we're going to do is to meet your spiritual strength and your physical strength as animals.

I like animals and then what I'm going to say is that your animal can be four-legged,

Two-legged,

Creepy-crawly,

Flying,

In other words not necessary just a four-legged animal.

So let's go and meet these strengths.

Once again hope you're in a place where you can close your eyes if not please do this meditation later.

And I don't mind if you have your feet on the ground or not.

Please take a short breath in,

Long breath out and as you're doing that you're clearing your mind,

Clearing a mind of what you know,

What you think you know,

Anything that I've been speaking about.

And as you do please come into the core of your being.

This can be your vertical line going through all the chakras,

It can be the heart,

Your heart,

I want this to be as the chakras are,

Moving energy and they're not just moving front and back and moving side to side,

It's like a fluid source that runs up and down side to side and it's connected through the earth energy and the heaven energy,

Sky and earth.

As you do that there's almost a sense of nothingness,

There's no hopefully no thought,

You're just listening to me.

Just energy flowing,

It's just pure energy without any definition.

And what I'd like you to now feel is that you are now in a place of nature,

Place where you can stand upon the earth or sit on the earth or sit on the stone whatever.

Be very mindful of you being in this place,

Listen to the sounds,

Smell the air,

Look at the colours,

The vibrancy of the colours and maybe feel the wind or the sun in your face or in your body.

Now I want you to imagine that on the left side of your body is your physical strength,

It's an animal that represents your physical strength.

Let the first animal that you see be the right one,

Can even be a mythological animal.

What an animal has appeared to you now is your physical strength.

What are three adjectives to describe that animal?

Strong,

Soft,

Quick,

What are the three adjectives?

And just for a moment imagine stepping into that animal,

How familiar are you with these qualities inside yourself?

Feel the strength of this animal as you step in.

Now step out,

Just return for a moment back to that beautiful place in nature that you are.

Now coming towards you on your right side is your spiritual strong animal,

Your spiritual power.

What animal appears to bring with it spiritual power?

See that now.

What three adjectives would you use to describe this animal?

And just for a moment step into this animal,

How does that feel?

Do you know this spiritual power?

How comfortable are you with it?

Now step back out of that animal,

Just for a moment imagine that you can touch each of the animals.

Even if you can't immediately touch you can feel their energy.

Under the left hand you have your physical power animal and under the right hand you have your spiritual power animal.

How does that feel?

Are they,

Does the energy come into you?

Are they being balanced?

Maybe even there's a third animal that appears.

One and one equals three.

Now taking your hands away,

Just slowly see those images dispersed knowing you can always call on those images.

Gently bring your awareness back to the room where you are.

When you're ready to open your eyes and please as always make a note of your findings and be aware of which of the animals may have been easier for you to connect to or maybe there's an animal that you saw or felt that you feel you need to explore a little bit more.

Write down your three qualities for each of the animals so you're really asking yourself is this,

Am I aware of these qualities,

How do they appear in my life?
