Waking up this morning,

I smile.

A new 24 hours to live.

I vow to live each moment deeply and smile on all beings with the eyes of compassion.

Oh God,

At whose bidding all things move as you think best for them,

Whose blessing falls on all those who love you enough to trust you utterly,

My soul praises you with the energy it draws from the Spirit.

The whole of my being praises you,

Lord,

For if you so will it,

God,

Today I shall be yours.

May this day and all situations that arise be a source of awakening for our spirit.

May our hearts waken to love and compassion and may our minds unite in mutual understanding and peace.

When our eyes see,

They are the eyes of Christ.

When our ears hear,

They are the ears of Christ.

When our mouths speak,

They speak the words of Christ.

When we breathe,

Our breath is the breath of Christ.

May we be peaceful and happy.

May we be healthy and safe.

May we be free from suffering.

May we prosper and be one in love.
