And welcome to the Blooming Spirit Podcast.

I'm Nola Bloom,

And tonight I invite you into a tranquil sleep journey,

A soothing voyage into deep rest and serenity.

This is your time to unwind,

To let the day dissolve into softness,

And to return to the quiet rhythm of your breath.

Now go ahead and make yourself really comfortable in bed.

Choose a position that feels most natural.

Adjust your pillows,

Your blankets,

Your body,

Until everything feels effortless.

Feel the mattress beneath you supporting you with tenderness,

And feel the gentle weight of the blankets embracing you,

Keeping you safe and warm.

Your bed is a cocoon of peace,

Holding you in unconditional love.

Take a long slow breath in through the nose,

And exhale out of the mouth with a soft sigh,

And whisper to yourself,

I am ready for peaceful sleep.

I surrender to rest and relaxation.

I let go of the day and welcome the calm.

With each inhale,

With each exhale,

Release any tension,

Bring awareness to the space between your eyebrows,

Every tiny muscle of the forehead to soften.

The mind follows the body.

As the muscles release,

The thoughts grow quiet.

You are safe now.

You are home and at ease.

Now begin to sense your breath as a lullaby.

The gentle movement of your belly.

Each breath is a wave washing through you,

Smoothing the edges of the day.

A sleepy calm begins to drift through you.
