Hi,
I'm Beth Kurland and today I wanna offer you a mini way of recharging.
With these two steps of resting and connecting.
So wherever you are in your day to just hit the pause button.
And for this first minute,
I wanna invite you to rest deeply.
To recognize that Just for this minute,
There's nowhere else to be,
Nothing else to do.
Allowing your eyes to rest.
Allowing.
Your mind to rest.
Allowing your body to rest and feel supported.
By the surface that you're sitting upon.
Allowing your feet to rest.
Upon the floor beneath you.
And just sensing into this.
Precious moment.
Are pausing.
Wherever you are to take this time for yourself.
And then to invite you to connect in with something or someone.
That you care about or it could be just a small thing that showed up in your day.
For me,
I'm thinking about this beautiful waterfall that I.
.
.
Walked past on a walk in the woods today.
So just connecting in with something that is meaningful to you.
That brings you in touch with your deeper values.
In touch with something that matters to you,
With something that feels important to you.
Just take that in as if you could just breathe that deeply into your body.
Connect in with whatever that is and let it energize you.
Let it fill you up.
Feel.
What happens in your body as you call that to mind in this moment.
And then as you're ready,
Maybe taking a deeper breath or two.
Getting ready to go back into your day.
I know that was just a very mini pause,
But sometimes just taking even a minute or two to interrupt our habitual.
Stress response and our habitual going and doing and so forth for the day can really help us to recharge and show up.
Differently in those moments to come.
