Hello and welcome.
My name is Bianca Campbell.
I am keeper of the metamorphosis and this is the inner autumn in our cycle support series.
Now,
If you haven't listened to the introduction,
Please go back and listen to that.
And then I recommend that you listen to these videos in the order that I outline there.
All right,
Today we are talking about our inner autumn,
Also called fall.
This is about the time when leaves start to fall.
Things start to drop off.
This is the season of,
It's a shift now.
The peak of summer is past.
It's a quiet time.
Things are starting to slow down.
You're winding down.
Energy's reduced.
You may be highly sensitive.
At this time and there's maybe an increase in your appetite and a sense of like your craving space,
Time alone.
It's the lead through to that final hibernation period of winter.
So this is that transitional phase.
Of things are slowing down.
There may be desire to clean,
To declutter,
To clear your space.
Now the foods to focus on at this particular point in time are warm,
Grounding foods like roasted vegetables,
Root vegetables.
Really foods to help balance your blood sugar levels and to really hold the phase for this is your body preparing to shed,
Getting ready to completely let go,
Getting ready for that winter phase.
Really focusing again on proteins and healthy fats and really supporting yourself,
Especially if you are still cycling,
Still menstruating.
And really we're focusing here in this phase on completion of tasks of the.
.
.
Winding up those loose ends before there's that final release and really focusing on your self-care and your emotional well-being is of critical importance obviously throughout the whole cycle but certainly now you've just had that high peak the high peak of summer,
And now we're bringing it down.
And I apologise,
The birds are going nuts.
They must know it's time for a change.
And actually,
As I'm recording this,
It's actually autumn here in Australia.
It is fall season.
It is time that things are starting to slow down.
Even though I'm wearing.
.
.
T-shirt the the evenings are cool the mornings are quite cool So it's time to adjust your pace.
It's time to allow.
Home for solitude in what may still be a busy life for you.
Okay,
So we're going to focus on our energetic practices now.
So taking that right hand,
Placing it across your forehead,
Left hand in front of you as though you're saying stop.
Open out your thumb.
Take the right hand,
Second and third fingers to the right hand.
Trace the line between the bridge of your nose and your hairline three times,
Twice,
Three times.
And now we're going to run two of the key meridians.
So we're going to run,
Firstly,
The large intestine meridian.
This starts with your index finger.
So you're going to start by touching the start point of the meridian,
And it's important that you touch the start and the end.
So it starts with your index finger.
So whichever hand you start with,
It doesn't matter.
And then you're going to trace the line all the way up through the inside of your arm,
Through past the back of your shoulder,
Up to your neck,
And then up to just below where your nostrils are.
Flick it off so we're going to do that three times so second time index finger all the way up the arm back of the neck back of the shoulder back of the neck side of the neck two next to your nostrils.
So that's twice last time.
And three times.
We're going to do that on both sides.
You can do each side individually or you can just do.
.
.
One and then cross over to the other.
It's up to you.
I like to just do one side at a time.
It makes it much easier to recall.
So that was the large intestine.
And now we're going to do our lung meridian.
So it starts at pretty much your armpit.
And you're just going to trace the line all the way down your arm,
Down to your thumb.
So through the inside of your arm,
All the way down to your thumb.
Three times on one side and then repeat it on the other side.
Armpit down to the thumb.
It's pretty straightforward.
I think I just did that four times,
But that's okay.
Now it's time to get into our practice.
Let me just kick off music.
That's good,
Right?
Okay,
Closing down your eyes.
Take a deep breath in.
Hold for a moment and exhale.
One small breath in.
Hold and exhale.
See the beautiful room.
The beautiful womb space.
The room that you spent all that beautiful time firstly decorating and then celebrating within.
And the party's over.
And it's time to very gently.
.
.
Very lovingly begin to tidy up the space.
As you would after a big party.
Gently packing things away that are in the wrong spaces.
Ensuring your room is neat and tidy.
Perhaps removing a few items to begin with.
Maybe you take some of the pictures or photos off the wall and pack them away quietly.
Really feeling yourself in this space.
And having gratitude and appreciation.
For what this space has given you.
In this cycle.
What the peak meant to you.
And honoring.
The winding down vein.
As the autumn leaves fall.
So too is there the release time.
The beginning of the quiet phase.
Allowing.
This space to hold you.
Even though it's shifting,
Even though it's changing.
Because it's always changing.
Having a deep.
.
.
Inner acceptance of the constant shift.
Of the constant change and knowing that's all part of the process.
Unwinding is a natural part of the cycle.
And it's the next step.
In order to let go fully.
And if that step doesn't occur,
If we were to hold on.
Constantly,
There would be no new growth.
There would be no new life available for us.
Honouring this time.
Honoring yourself.
Now sit for a moment in front of your altar.
And gently see if there's something that can be packed away.
Perhaps the flowers have slowly started to wither and you can remove those with grace.
With ease.
And gently thank them.
Thank those.
Flowers if they were there.
Or what they gave to you in this time.
Perhaps removing crystals.
Perhaps just a gentle tidy up.
Whatever feels right for you.
You are in charge.
This is your space.
This is a deep.
.
.
Reflection of you.
And sitting in front of this altar.
Allow the candle to go out now.
Summer is finished.
Party is over.
Ease.
Thank this space.
Everything it has given you.
Knowing full well the cycle will begin again.
And everything is about.
Trusting.
And honoring the timing.
Your natural flow,
Your natural cycle.
The natural rhythm.
Thanks.
Is deeply understood by your physicality.
It's so understood that there is no mind involved.
It happens beyond you.
It happens.
Beyond your mental awareness.
Appreciate yourself.
Thank yourself and own yourself.
As we start to wind down.
Perhaps place a hand over your heart.
And thank this space for all it gave you.
And when you're ready You can begin to open your eyes.
And look around you.
Feel your feet on the floor or your body on the surface that you're sitting or lying on.
Look at the walls around you or the space that you're in.
And remember the last thing you ate.
And thank yourself for showing up today.
