For many years I lived with the scarcity mindset.
A fear-based life stuck in what-ifs.
It wasn't until I started a daily practice to cultivate an abundant mindset that I was able to step into my true power and move beyond the fears that held me back.
Feeling abundant for many of us can involve work to reprogram our societal and familial conditioning.
This short meditation is aimed to do just that.
Come into an upright sitting position using a chair or cushions so you can be as comfortable as possible.
Close your eyes or have a soft gaze looking at the tip of your nose.
Start to take your awareness inwards.
Start to focus on your breath.
Feel the inhale and exhale through your nose.
The soft,
Gentle rise and fall of your belly and chest.
To feel truly abundant,
Firstly we need to acknowledge with gratitude the wonderful things in our life.
That could be anything.
Maybe it's gratitude for our next breath,
Our sight,
Our home or our friends and family.
Whatever you feel grateful for,
Take a few moments to sit with this sense of gratitude.
If you can't think of anything,
Just allow yourself to feel grateful just to be here.
Taking this time for yourself.
A moment in your busy day just for you.
Now from this place of gratitude,
Open yourself up to the possibility of abundance.
Abundance can mean different things.
Maybe for you,
You're looking to cultivate financial abundance,
Or maybe it's abundance of good health,
Or maybe love.
Whatever abundance means to you,
Take a moment to acknowledge this.
Now imagine your life,
Living your life with this abundance.
What does it feel like?
What does it look like?
Truly picture yourself in this abundant life you are creating.
To cement this sense of abundance in your subconscious,
Repeat the following affirmations with full integrity and belief.
Or you can create your own affirmations.
I am worthy of an abundance of love,
Joy,
Happiness.
I am worthy of an abundance of good health and friendship.
I am worthy of an abundance of wealth and success.
I invite in an abundance of love,
Joy,
And happiness.
I invite in an abundance of good health and friendship.
I invite in an abundance of wealth and success.
As you come back to this practice daily,
You may notice you feel more abundant,
Perhaps just in small ways at first,
And then maybe you start to see more things you can be grateful for every day.
As you learn to see abundance all around you,
Appreciate truly what a beautiful gift this life is.
Namaste.
