It’s easy in the world we live in to feel we need more. Just think if we all felt abundant with what we have in our lives now we wouldn’t need to be consumers, we wouldn’t need to purchase or grab at anything to make us happy. My own experience has shown me I can feel gratitude and abundance in my life regardless of my circumstances. Working with a daily mantra practice, evoking the energy of abundance through the Hindu goddess Lakshmi has changed my mindset from one of scarcity, fear and lack to one of abundance, gratitude and joy. Today I invite you to join me and experience my practice for yourself.

It's easy in the world we live in to feel we need more.

That life would be good if we had a new job,

A new love,

A new car,

A new body,

The latest iPhone,

Or whatever it might be.

We believe that when we have that thing,

We will be happy.

Our society operates and functions to encourage a scarcity mindset.

Just think if we all felt abundant with what we have in our lives now,

We wouldn't need to be consumers.

We wouldn't need to purchase or grab anything to make us happy.

The world economy would collapse.

My own experience has shown me I can feel gratitude and abundance in my life regardless of my external circumstances.

Working with a daily mantra practice,

Evoking the energy of abundance through the Hindu goddess Lakshmi,

Has changed my mindset from one of scarcity,

Fear and lack to one of abundance,

Gratitude and joy.

Today I invite you to join me and experience my practice for yourself.

Firstly,

We will feel gratitude for what we have.

Then we will chant 108 rounds to the goddess Lakshmi,

And we will finish with some affirmations to really cement in this energy of abundance.

So come now into a comfortable upright position,

Sitting on a chair or on cushions,

And closing the eyes if you're comfortable to do so.

Taking three breaths,

Take the inhale through the nose and exhale out through the mouth.

Just let it all go.

Two more breaths,

Inhaling through the nose,

Exhaling out through the mouth.

Now turning our attention to what we have in our lives right now that we are grateful for.

That could be our breath,

Our sight.

Maybe it's our family and friends,

Maybe it's our house.

Whatever it is,

Take a moment here to feel gratitude for the blessings in your life.

Now feeling this gratitude in your heart,

Join me for 108 rounds chanting to the goddess Lakshmi.

Now take a breath in through the nose and exhale out through the mouth.

Let's do that two more times.

Inhale through the nose and exhale really side out through the mouth.

Last time,

Inhale through the nose,

Exhale through the mouth.

And to really plant this sense of abundance in our subconscious,

We will close with some affirmations.

Just saying these affirmations out loud or silently to yourself.

I am worthy of an abundance of love,

Joy,

Peace,

And friendship.

I invite in an abundance of love,

Joy,

Peace,

And friendship.

I am worthy of an abundance of good health,

Wealth,

And success.

I invite in an abundance of good health,

Wealth,

And success.

I am worthy of this abundance.

I invite in this abundance.

And so it is.

I am abundant.

Come back to this practice daily to really embody this energy of abundance.

And as you start to embody this abundant mindset,

Notice if you start to see the world around you in a different light.
