It's your choice. You can poke the rhino with a stick or seek the quiet stone in the tall grass. It's also your choice to seek and nourish, to let the pond still. Let the light warm you. Let the light reach in. Let the light be reflected in you.

Welcome to a hit of hope.

Take a seat.

Close your eyes.

Settle into your sitting bones.

And let the crown of your head rise.

It's your choice.

You can stir up the zoo inside.

You can provoke the bear that's feeling trapped.

You can whip up the monkeys and get them to screech and holler.

You can poke the rhino with a stick.

Or smack the lion in the nose.

It's your choice.

It's also your choice to seek and nourish.

To let the pond still.

To watch the bee gather nectar.

To seek the quiet stone in the tall grass.

Let the light warm you.

Let the light reach in.

Let the light be reflected in you.

Sit still.

Shine.

Namaste.

Well here's one I must have listened too as its bookmarked from 2019!!!!! SIX YEARS. Appropriate that I saw it recommended today as HEAPS to do. But glad it reminded me to choose to feed my ducklings sitting amongst the grass and take some time to enjoy the warmer summer weather. I smile to myself as I remember way back then you were in a wardrobe and how you voice sounded in those days...😉😊.....🌞

When I heard the very start of this I felt a little bit sad. I lost my mom (and best friend) several years ago . Before she died, she had ordered 7 charm bracelets, one for each of her daughters. Her sister gave them to us after her death and the charm said,( Whenever you feel overwhelmed, straighten your crown and remember whose daughter you are)! ❤️👵🏻🥰

I know, if Cinders the kitten is purring in my lap within the few minutes duration of one of your meditations, that it has stilled me, it has helped me reclaim my peace. The Blackbird (named for the Beatles' song) RV travels Iowa and into Minnesota today, bound soon for the SD badlands and the Oregon coast beyond, and I love this life I have created. I still stress. I still worry. But with the help of meditation and teachers like you, I never devolve to rhino poking anymore. I envision my frame as filled with dirty, silty water, and I sit, and I calm, and I breathe until the silt settles and the water is once more clear. You have helped to get me here, and I owe you a great debt. Thank you, and Namaste.

Thanks again, you can put more meaning to few minutes session than others manage in an hour long recording. Great analogy with the zoo full of creatures. Just being an observer and accepting things as they are is better alternative to provoke chaos.

I woke up with the crazy monkeys and the rhino, but after listening to this meditation, I sent them off to watch the still pond. Here's to a good day of strawberries. Namaste and blessings :-)
