Find a quiet,

Comfortable space where you can sit undisturbed.

Allow your body to settle into the chair or cushion,

Feeling supported.

Rest your hands gently in your lap or on your knees,

Closing your eyes softly,

Or keep them open with a soft gaze.

Take a deep breath in through your nose and slowly exhale through your mouth,

Letting go of any tension.

Let your breath come naturally,

Releasing effort,

Steady and calm.

Breathing in,

I am present in this moment.

Breathing out,

I release any tension in my body.

Let's take a moment and listen to three sounds of the bell while you connect to your breathing.

Now bring your awareness to the decision you are facing,

The choices before you regarding your child.

It could be big or small,

But it feels important.

Notice what comes up as you bring this decision to mind.

Perhaps there is a sense of pressure or uncertainty.

Perhaps there is clarity or doubt.

Whatever it is,

Just notice it.

You don't need to fix it or change it right now,

Simply observe.

How does this feel in your body?

Where is that sensation located?

Now see if you can explore the sensations with curiosity.

Breathing in,

I am aware of my body.

Breathing out,

I recognize the sensation in my body.

Now what feelings or emotions do you have about this decision process?

See if you can just let these feelings be,

Just as they are,

Accepting them,

Not trying to change them,

Just being with them.

Breathing in,

I am aware of my feelings.

Breathing out,

I accept the feelings just as they are.

See if you are bringing any type of judgment to this decision,

Whether it is good or bad.

Are there players that you are judging as good or bad,

Including yourself?

Breathing in,

I acknowledge the decision before me.

Breathing out,

I let go of judgment for this moment.

Now imagine that each choice you have is like a path in front of you.

Each path might look different.

Some may feel familiar,

Others may feel uncertain.

There is no right or wrong path,

Just options to explore.

You don't need to decide which one to choose just yet.

For now,

You are simply exploring.

Take a moment to breathe deeply,

Letting go of any urgency to make a quick choice.

Now allow yourself to step into a space of curiosity,

As if you are walking through a garden of options.

Each path holds something important for you and your child.

Breathing in,

I approach this decision with curiosity.

Breathing out,

I am open to exploring all possibilities.

Now gently place each option in your mind.

See each path,

Each possibility.

Hold them one at a time,

With no rush,

No pressure.

For each choice,

Notice how it feels in your body.

Do you feel a sense of openness,

Calm,

Or ease with one?

Do you feel a sense of tension,

Resistance,

Or uncertainty with another?

Notice how your body responds.

Or the lightness in your heart.

It's not about finding the right answer just yet.

It's about feeling each option without judgment.

Give yourself permission to explore each path without needing to decide immediately.

Now breathe in,

I trust myself to explore with openness.

Breathing out,

I release the need to have all the answers.

Imagine that you can step into each path one by one,

As if you are walking down a road.

Visualize yourself moving down the first path,

The one you are considering.

Notice what you see,

What you feel,

What you experience.

Now,

Does this path feel like it aligns with your values and what you want for your child?

Then gently step back and explore the next path.

What does this one feel like?

How does it compare to the first?

Is there something in this option that feels more aligned with your heart?

Take your time.

Notice what each option brings to your awareness.

Allow yourself to feel into these choices without rushing to a conclusion.

If you need to,

Pause the meditation to give yourself more time to explore each choice.

Breathing in,

I trust myself to feel into the possibilities.

Breathing out,

I trust that clarity will come.

If your mind begins to race with questions,

Doubts,

Or fears,

Gently bring your awareness back to your breath,

Back to your body.

You do not need to have all the answers right now,

You are simply exploring.

Breathing in,

I am present with this process.

Breathing out,

I let go of the need for certainty.

Now bring your focus to the present moment.

You don't need to decide immediately.

You have time to reflect,

To feel,

And to ask questions.

Exploring your options is part of the process.

It's okay to take the time to move through it gently,

With patience for yourself.

Breathing in,

I honor this process of exploration.

Breathing out,

I release any pressure to rush.

When you are ready,

Begin to bring your awareness back to the room.

Feel the surface beneath you,

Your feet on the ground.

Notice your breath,

Steady and calm.

You can return to this place of clarity and openness whenever you need to.

Take one last deep breath in,

And slowly exhale.

Knowing that the process of exploration has already begun.
