Gently close your eyes and take a moment to notice where you are,

Where your energy and attention has been today,

Where it is now.

Just noticing,

Observing.

Notice if there's any certain emotion that's prominent.

Are any thoughts pulling on you?

Is a part of you still residing back in a recent situation or conversation?

Call yourself back.

With each breath,

Call yourself home.

Letting go of any situations,

People,

Places,

Emotions,

Thoughts that are still lingering.

You can even imagine that there's a string between you and those things and that you are able to untie yourself from them.

Letting them float away,

Just float away like a balloon.

And bringing all of your essential self right here,

Right now.

Now feeling yourself here and feeling the seat where you're sitting,

The ground beneath you,

The air around you touching your skin.

Bringing your awareness to your body.

Taking a deep breath and begin turning your attention towards the center of your being.

And I'm going to suggest that that is within you,

Just around the heart space,

Perhaps a little lower.

In the center of your torso,

Deep within,

Within into a dimension of you beyond the physical that connected to it.

And in this place,

I invite you to imagine a bright star.

The center of you,

A radiant,

Living,

Bright star.

Breathe with this star for a minute,

This place of pure light and infinite center.

And now allow all parts of you,

Every thought,

Every limb,

To be listening to and informed by this center,

By this star.

Just imagine all parts turning their attention to this star.

How does it feel to allow all parts to relax into this place?

Being and centering in this living,

Ever-present part of you,

Centering into yourself,

Your own core,

Your own consciousness.

Turning into pure centered presence.

We're going to touch into and enhance aspects of this center now.

So from your star,

Allow its light now to spread and travel into each shoulder,

Left shoulder,

Right shoulder,

Filling those joints with light.

And then the light travels down each arm,

A line of light.

And really use the power of your intention here to feel,

Find,

Or visualize the very center of your arm.

Down into the very center,

Even the center of the bone.

Traveling down from the shoulder,

Following the arm bones past the elbow and into the center of each palm,

Allowing here the light to pool and fill the center of each palm.

Then returning up your arms to the shoulders,

To the center star,

Guide that light now down the center of your body,

Following the line of your spine,

Allowing the light to travel down your spine into your hips,

Filling your pelvis like a bowl,

Filling with light.

And now allowing the light from your hips and pelvis to travel down each leg,

A light traveling down the center of each leg,

Really feeling that center line of each leg until the light pools into the center of each foot.

And from the sole of each foot,

Allow the rays of light to extend down into the earth.

And just notice what might want to happen here.

Then bringing your awareness back to the sole of each foot,

The light pooled there and traveling back up through each leg,

The lines of light through each leg and meeting now at your lower belly,

Just touching into this energy center here at the lower belly,

Allowing the light to gather here at this energy center,

Which is called the dantian.

Take a few nice deep breaths here into your lower belly.

And from here,

Following that line of light again up your spine,

Up your center,

To the star at the center of your being.

And just for a moment,

Feel that center line between the star and your lower belly.

And really breathe here and imagine this center line getting stronger,

Larger,

Allowing the central part of you to expand a little more.

Good.

And from here,

From the star,

Extend that light up into your throat,

Filling your throat chakra.

And then continuing on into the center of your head.

So you have the light,

The center of your head,

Down your central channel,

Down your spine,

The dantian,

Filling your pelvis,

Extending down each leg,

Strong central lines of light,

And down each arm.

The light at the center of your head.

Just breathe here for a moment,

Feeling the centering here,

The centering of your mind.

You might even imagine a sphere of light in the center of your head.

Just be with this for a moment and allow whatever wants to happen here.

You may receive an image or a certain color.

That wants to come for the centering of your mind,

Allowing that to happen,

Holding the intention for centeredness,

Calm center.

Great.

And as you're ready,

Follow that line again down the center of your being to the star.

Take a few breaths here in the center of your beautiful being.

Working with these lines of center can be a really helpful way to remember centeredness.

There are aspects of our energy that are more flowy and unstructured and aspects that are more structured.

These lines of structure connected with the star,

The center of your being,

Can be one really great way to re-find a state of center,

A state of presence and focus.

Breathe here.

Feel your center,

Your wholeness.

Notice what the quality of your presence feels like now,

Your spark of being,

Your pure pulse of life.

And as you're ready,

See how slowly and gently you can open your eyes,

Softening your facial expression while at the same time bringing that sense of center into your gaze and focus.

Focus your body and allow this connection to your center to move you,

Breathe you,

Guide you and be there for you.

Let it go.
