Begin with your eyes open and ensure that you are in a relaxed,

Comfortable position seated or laying down for this meditation.

And now with your eyes gently open,

Begin bringing them into a softer gaze.

Begin invoking your intent for meditation.

And then gently close your eyes.

And as you do this,

Notice the transition from eyes open to eyes closed.

And take a deep breath.

And once again,

Open your eyes.

And then close your eyes,

Noting the difference,

The difference from form,

Shape,

Perhaps some light into a more internal space,

Into formlessness.

And now with your eyes closed,

Begin to notice the subtle or not so subtle movements within.

The movement of your thoughts.

The movement of your emotions.

And the movement of any body sensations.

Just noticing these movements that are present with you at the moment.

And now I want to invite you to seek out an area of stillness in your own being,

Wherever you can find stillness.

It's there somewhere.

It might be the tip of your finger,

The crown of your head,

Your womb space,

The sole of your foot.

Find that area of stillness and then bring all your awareness there and observe.

What is that stillness like?

What is its tone?

Its texture?

And staying with that stillness in that area where you found it,

Begin to bring your breath there.

And allow the breath and the essence of the stillness to mingle.

Inhaling and exhaling.

The stillness mingling with the breath.

Just being with this natural,

Organic rhythm of your breathing.

This movement of breath with the stillness.

If something comes back,

An emotion,

A tension,

Just let it pass by.

Coming back to the stillness and the breath.

Now begin to allow this breath mingled with the stillness to spread outward,

To spread to any area of your being where more stillness is calling.

Any area that could use a little more of this stillness.

Just inviting that to happen,

Allowing and observe where it wants to go.

And at any time,

If you need a little reminder of the quality of stillness,

Find those places again.

Find somewhere,

The top of your head,

The tip of your pinky,

An earlobe,

Your womb space,

The sole of your left foot.

Returning to stillness.

The breath mingling with the stillness.

Organic rhythm spreading.

Invite that stillness now intentionally into your heart,

Into your heart space.

Inviting that stillness to mingle with your heart space.

And from there,

Inviting the stillness into the center of your head.

The stillness mingling at the very center of your head,

Inside your brain.

And now allowing that to travel down your spine.

The tone,

The quality,

The texture of your stillness traveling down your spine.

And from there,

Filling your whole being,

Your whole body,

Expanding out,

Filling you until it begins to even expand beyond your skin.

The stillness now expanding beyond your body,

Creating a container of stillness that you can exist within.

Again,

Always coming back to an area of stillness as needed to remind you.

The tip of your finger,

The crown of your head,

Your left earlobe,

The sole of your right foot.

Beginning with the breath,

Stillness spreading wherever it knows to go,

In your body,

In your psyche,

Beyond your skin,

Resting in a container of stillness,

Held by stillness,

Nourished,

Bathed in the peace,

The wisdom,

Breath,

And stillness.

I invite you to take a moment here just to be in the stillness and the silence.

We'll take one minute.

And when that one minute is done,

I'll ring a bell.

Know that this space,

Though silent and still,

Is not empty.

It is rich and fertile and nourishing.

Let's begin.

One-day Claudius Aikido with professor Terence Ohio тоже üst là 1 nuch And As you feel ready,

Bringing the stillness with you,

Begin to feel your skin,

Your body,

The ground beneath you,

Beginning to re-emerge.

Bringing the stillness with you,

Bringing it into your eyes,

Into your movements.

And as you're ready,

Gently come out of the meditation.

I loved this meditation. I found the teacher’s voice soothing and I liked the pacing. I appreciated her suggestions of where to look for stillness in my body. I liked the idea of extending the stillness past my body. I also appreciated the explanation of the period of silence and that the bell at the end of that time was gentle and so I wasn’t startled. Thank you. 💛
