We're going to do a meditation for the root chakra.
Just choose a place and time where you don't have any distractions for the next few minutes.
And lengthen the spine.
You can be in a seated position.
Feel the shoulders stacked over the hips.
Lift the heart center.
And pull the chin in slightly so the nape of the neck is open and long.
Let's bring the palms together in prayer position and then rub the hands.
And place the palms down on the knees.
With that long spine,
Let's gently roll the eyes in and up and focus on the brow point.
Let's take a deep breath in.
And exhale.
Inhale deeply.
Feel the belly.
And the shoulders stacked over the hips.
Sides and backs of the ribs up to the chest.
Exhale.
Soften the chest.
Soften the ribcage.
Bring the navel back,
Back,
Back to the spine.
And inhale again.
Feel your belly.
Sides and backs of the ribs up to the chest.
And the shoulders stacked over the hips.
And exhale.
Soften the chest.
Soften the ribcage.
Press all the air out.
Good.
Continue with that breath.
And exhale.
And exhale.
And exhale.
And exhale.
And exhale.
And exhale.
Continue with that breath.
You can even deepen your breath a little more.
And then imagine two roots that grow down from your sit bones.
And send these roots deep,
Deep,
Deep,
Deep into the core of the earth.
So imagine these roots growing past the layers of soil and rock and water.
Into the fiery core of the earth.
See source energy in the core of the earth with a mama feel,
Powerful,
Nurturing mama.
And inhale up this energy and help this life force up through the roots up the spine,
Through the top of the head.
And then exhale back down the spine and back through the roots into the earth.
And again,
Inhale up this mother earth energy,
Pacha Mama,
Up through the body,
Through the mind and the skull and the thoughts.
And then exhale back down the spine and back through the roots into the earth.
And again,
Really visualize it.
See that you are just pulling up and drinking in energy from the very core of the earth into your being,
Into your body.
And exhale.
And now imagine the base of the spine,
The pelvic floor region,
A beautiful sphere of red light,
A vibrant,
Beautiful red.
Just imagine the sphere start to rotate in a clockwise direction.
Good.
And as you focus on the sphere of light,
You notice that it grows brighter and stronger.
You notice that it starts to spin a little faster and that this light fills the whole lower body and even past your physical body.
And just visualize that.
See it,
Feel it,
Imagine it.
And now lengthen the spine a little more and imagine a huge sun above you,
A beautiful golden warm sun,
Massive sun.
And see this as source energy and visualize pulling in this liquid light through the top of the head,
Down the spine,
Down to the base of the spine and down to this sphere of red light.
And then exhale up the spine,
Out the top of the head and see the light cascade all around you.
And again,
Inhale this liquid sunlight through the top of the head,
Down the spine,
To the base of the spine,
Igniting and strengthening and feeding the root chakra.
And then exhale up the spine,
Out the top of the head and see that beautiful light cascade all around you.
Like a fountain of light filling your aura,
Filling the space around you.
Beautiful,
That's it.
And one more,
Let's inhale that liquid sunlight,
As source energy,
Down the spine and into the body and into the root.
And just hold it here.
Just imagine that red growing brighter and truer and clearer and brighter and stronger and happier.
And exhale up the spine,
Out the top of the head,
To the light cascade all around you.
And again,
Just notice your connection to the earth,
Being supported by the earth,
Your connection to the heavens,
Supported by the heavens and see the root chakra.
Imagine it growing brighter and stronger.
And take a deep breath in.
And exhale,
Lengthen the spine.
And again,
Bring your focus to the base of the spine,
To the root chakra.
And just be with it.
Just sit with it and listen.
How does it feel?
Just notice.
And bring hands in prayer position,
Palms together.
Take a deep breath in.
Scoop in a little more air.
A little more.
And exhale in gratitude.
