This is a space for rest,
For your body and your emotions.
Your body has been carrying you,
Holding tension,
Holding experiences.
And right now,
It is safe to soften.
Nothing is being asked of you.
Bring your awareness to the top of your head.
Gently move your attention down to your forehead,
Your eyes.
Notice if there is any tightness,
Any holding.
Let it soften,
Just a little.
Bring awareness to your jaw,
Your tongue,
Your face.
Allow space there.
Now your neck,
Your shoulders.
Let them drop,
Even slightly.
Bring awareness to your arms,
Your hands,
Your fingers.
No effort,
Just noticing.
Move to your chest,
Your heart area.
And your stomach,
Your abdomen.
Let your breath reach there.
Feel your whole body supported,
Held.
Your body communicates through sensation.
Tension,
Discomfort,
Heaviness,
Tightness,
Or even numbness.
Instead of resisting,
See if you can listen.
Is there a place in your body asking for your attention?
Gently bring your awareness there.
And simply stay.
No fixing,
No forcing.
Just presence.
Let your breath move naturally in and out through that area.
Sometimes the body holds emotions,
That's where never fully process.
Right now,
It is safe to let them move.
If something arises,
A feeling,
An image,
A sensation.
Let it come,
Without resistance.
Like waves in the ocean,
Rising and falling.
You don't need to analyze them.
You don't need to name them.
Just allow.
You are not the wave.
You are the space that holds it.
Now,
Gently place a hand on your body,
Where it feels most natural.
Chest,
Stomach,
Or anywhere that needs support.
Feel the warmth of your own touch.
Let your breath slow down.
Inhale gently,
And exhale longer.
Longer exhales signal safety to your body.
You are telling your nervous system,
It's okay to relax.
It's okay to let go.
Stay here,
Breathing slowly,
Feeling supported.
Now,
Softly repeat with them.
My body is allowed to rest.
I don't need to carry everything.
I am safe to soften.
I can take this moment for myself.
My body and mind are working together.
I trust the process of willingness.
Let these words gently settle into your body.
