Welcome to this month's Full Moon Yoga Nidra Meditation,

Tailored to harness the grounding and nurturing energies of the full moon in Taurus.

This full moon is also known as the Beaver Moon,

Named by Native American tribes and early colonial settlers who associated it with the time of the year when beavers are most actively preparing for winter.

This is a time of reflection and preparation that is mirroring the qualities of both the beaver and the Taurus energy.

My name is Anna and I'm so honored to guide you through this restorative journey.

In this session,

You will connect with the steady reflection and stabilizing energy of the full moon in Taurus,

A time for grounding yourself,

Reflecting on the past year and preparing for the coming winter season.

As the beaver moon rises,

It invites us to release outdated patterns,

Embrace inner stability and nurture ourselves deeply,

Resonating with Taurus' strong,

Nurturing and resilient power.

Through guided visualization and deep relaxation,

You will tap into your inner strength,

Setting the foundation for growth and adaptability during the colder months.

Prepare to connect deeply with your sense of stability,

To explore your inner resources and mostly to welcome the transformation that this full moon encourages.

It is a time to embrace your resilience,

To ground yourself and to nurture your true essence.

This yoga nidra practice will invite you to release,

To reflect and prepare for the next chapter,

Allowing you to move forward with grace and strength and to embrace the winter season together.

Now let's begin by finding a comfortable lying down position,

Allowing your body to completely relax.

So really taking the time here to arrive and feel the most space and comfortable you could think of.

Building up that space and letting your arms rest by your sides,

Palms facing upwards and your legs comfortably apart.

If it feels safe for you,

Gently close your eyes and welcome yourself into practice just by taking a deep breath in and then exhaling,

Releasing all tension.

Letting yourself sink into the surface beneath you,

Feeling fully supported by the earth.

Inhaling,

Expanding the body,

Expanding yourself and exhaling,

Letting go and releasing.

Beginning to bring your awareness to your breath,

Really allowing each inhale and exhale to draw deeper into a state of relaxation.

With each breath you take,

You feel yourself letting go of any stress or tension.

Inhaling through the nose,

Inviting newness and exhaling softly through the mouth.

Allowing yourself to connect with your breath and feel your breath grounding you,

Drawing your awareness inward,

Connecting you to the sacred moment.

Begin peeling layer by layer as your body,

Mind and spirit are nourished by rest.

With each exhale you feel a layer gently releasing,

Allowing your heart space to unfold and open.

Gently bring awareness to that beautiful heart of yours,

Calling in your Sankalpa,

Your heart's attention.

Your Sankalpa is a deep desire spoken in the positive,

As if it's already happening.

You may be working with a personal Sankalpa or perhaps you can choose to repeat,

I ground myself in the present moment,

Honor my inner strength and prepare for the future with grace and resilience.

I ground myself in the present moment,

Honor my inner strength and prepare for the future with grace and resilience.

I ground myself in the present moment,

Honor my inner strength and prepare for the future with grace and resilience.

Repeating your Sankalpa now internally and letting it resonate within you.

We will now move through a rotation of consciousness,

Experiencing a sensation of energy at each point.

Now begin to bring your awareness to your breath,

Allowing each inhale and exhale to draw deeper into a state of relaxation.

Begin to feel the waves of the breath effortlessly moving through you and around you,

And around you like a gentle rise and fall of the river beneath the full moon.

Imagine the breath washing through you as through your body was a serene river flowing in harmony with the energy of the beaver moon.

As you inhale you feel the natural expansion,

As you exhale you sense the gentle release like the river flowing downstream.

Feel the whole body breathing,

Connected to the cycles of nature,

Grounded and nurtured by the energy of the full moon.

With each breath you feel yourself letting go of any stress or tension.

Inhaling deeply through the nose,

Exhaling softly through the nose,

Exhaling through the nose,

Feeling your breath grounding you,

Drawing your awareness inward,

Connecting you to the sacred moment.

As you settle into stillness,

Imagine yourself lying on a softy grass field under the gentle light of the full moon.

The moonlight bathes you in a warm soothing glow,

Wrapping you in a blanket of peace.

Feel the earth beneath you,

Steady and strong,

Holding you with unconditional support.

With every breath you take you feel your connection to the earth growing stronger like the roots of a mighty tree expanding deep into the soil.

These roots draw in strength and stability from the earth,

Filling your entire being with grounded energy.

Now begin to imagine your body is being held and supported by a warm soft sand underneath you.

Feel the gentle rays of the moonlight touching your skin,

Providing soothing warmth.

Feel your whole body warm,

Supported and completely at ease,

Embracing the nurturing energy of the earth and the moon.

Under the light of the beautiful moon,

Now feel a sense of coolness.

A cool ocean mist gently touches your skin.

It's bringing a refreshing sensation.

Feel the cool ocean breeze wash over you.

It's calming your entire body and mind.

Now feel both warmth and coolness at the same time,

Allowing the sensations of the warmth sand beneath you and the coolness around you to coexist.

Feel the harmony of the sensations,

Embracing both warmth and coolness together,

Balanced and at balanced and at peace,

Just as the full moon balances the energy of release and renewal.

With each exhale,

You feel yourself becoming lighter and more open,

Creating space within for growth,

Peace and resilience.

Now,

As we bask in the moon's glow,

Let us take this time for reflection.

Picture yourself standing at the edge of a gentle river.

The river represents the flow of time,

The passing year,

And all that has already transpired.

Allow the memories of the past months to gently arise.

The challenges you faced,

The moments of joy,

The lessons you've learned.

See if you can observe them without judgment,

Simply acknowledging what has been.

Simply acknowledging what has been.

Let each and every memory drift like a leaf of the river,

Carried away by the current,

Releasing it into the flow of time.

As you continue to watch the river,

Feel yourself letting go with each exhale you take,

Releasing what no longer serves you,

Outdated patterns,

Old fears,

And burdens that you have been carrying.

Watch as they drift downstream,

Dissolving into the water,

Creating space for new possibilities.

Breathing in this high vibrational energy and breathing out,

Letting go deeper and deeper,

Inviting in the quiet space of silence to rest in this peace and gratitude that is always within you.

Now take a deep breath in and exhale fully,

Beginning to visualize the luminous energy of the beautiful moon rising within your space once more.

The power of the star's full moon invites your sankalpa to rise to your heart,

Filling it with gratitude and determination.

Feel a sense of warmth and stability within you,

As if you're being embraced by the moon's nurturing glow.

Feel connected to yourself,

To the earth,

And to the cycles of nature.

You are connected to your truest,

Deepest,

Self-grounded,

And resilient.

Your love and strength are so profound that they are capable of manifesting your sankalpa into your physical space.

Now,

Silently,

Repeat your primary sankalpa,

Or perhaps repeat,

I ground myself into the present moment,

Honor my inner strength,

And prepare for the future with grace and resilience.

I ground myself in the present moment,

Honor my inner strength,

Honor my inner strength,

And prepare for the future with grace and resilience.

I ground myself in the present moment,

Honor my inner strength,

And prepare for the future with grace and resilience.

Now,

Very slowly,

First,

Deepen your breath.

As you deepen your breath,

You may bring your awareness back to being aware,

Noticing the parts of you that is witnessing,

Noticing how you feel emotionally,

Noticing and observing your energy.

Feel the energy moving through you.

Feel the rise and fall of the breath.

Now,

Feel your whole body being held and supported.

Feel all parts of your body touching the surface below you,

Beginning to feel your fingers and toes,

Feeling all the cumulative benefits of the practice,

Letting your body area awaken slowly.

Find your breath.

Feel your whole body being held and supported.

Letting your body area awaken slowly.

Finding all the gentle movements and stretches to really awaken to the space.

And then maybe invite your arms above your head for a full body stretch.

Inhale deeply,

Exhaling,

Sighing it out or yawning.

And now,

Gently bringing your hands to your heart center and adjust your gratitude towards yourself.

Once you're ready,

You can bring your hands in prayer,

Starting to rub the palms,

Rub the palms as quickly as you can.

And once you have enough,

You can gently bring the hands back to your face,

Taking the time to thank yourself for taking the time for your well-being and connecting with the nurturing energy of the four unit arms.

Once you're ready,

You can gently blink your eyes open to come back to the space.

Invite a smile to yourself and you're ready to go on with your life.

Thank you so much for taking the time for practicing with me today and I hope to see you in our next time together.

From my heart to yours,

Namaste.

Happy Full Moon.
