Welcome to this gentle meditation for supporting the root chakra using the Hawaiian Ho'oponopono prayer.

Please only listen when you are safe to relax fully.

Take a moment now to settle into a comfortable position either seated or lying down,

Body supported,

At ease and when you're ready gently close your eyes.

Bring your awareness to your breath,

No need to change it,

Simply notice the rhythm.

With each exhale allow the body to soften and as the body relaxes the mind relaxes too.

Any outside sounds will simply fade into the background,

Only my voice guiding you deeper into comfort.

Let's take three slow deep breaths together.

Inhale gently,

Find that sacred pause between the inhale and the exhale and then exhale slowly.

Again finding that sacred pause,

That zero point between the exhale and the inhale.

Again inhaling,

Finding the pause and exhale letting go,

Looking for the pause.

One last time inhale,

Pause for a moment and exhale settling deeply into the body and allow your breathing to return to its natural rhythm.

Now bring your awareness to the feet and legs,

Both sides relaxing together,

Heavy and supported.

Feeling that relaxation traveling up the legs into the hips and the lower belly,

The pelvis soft,

Held and safe.

Feeling that relaxation traveling up the spine,

Rising up through the abdomen into the chest and shoulders,

Flowing down both arms like warm hands and fingers,

Warm and relaxed.

Now the neck,

Jaw and face softening,

Eyes heavy,

Forehead smooth,

Your whole body now resting,

Calm,

Relaxed,

At ease and it's safe to go even deeper now.

Bring your awareness now to the root chakra at the base of your spine,

This is your foundation,

Your connection to Mother Earth,

A sense of safety and belonging.

Imagine this area gently glowing,

The beautiful deep red light,

Steady,

Grounded,

Supported.

Imagine stepping into this space now as if you were stepping into a warm quiet stone cave.

See the soft golden light,

A gentle fire,

Feel the fresh air on your skin,

This is your sacred space,

Only you may enter,

You are safe here.

Now bringing your attention to the energy of your root chakra at its core,

As if speaking to a younger innocent part of yourself and gently say,

I'm sorry,

I'm sorry for the burdens you've carried from this life,

Other lives and ancestral lives,

You no longer need to hold them.

Please forgive me for not listening sooner,

Leaving you to carry this alone.

I'm here now,

Thank you for every signal you sent me,

Every ache,

Fear or tension was an invitation to heal.

I choose to let this go now,

I love you,

You connect me to Mother Earth,

You support me in every breath,

You are safe,

You are home.

On the next inhale,

Imagine a gentle breeze moving through the space,

Lifting any remaining heaviness and as you exhale,

An energy flows into the fire to be released,

To be transformed.

And again on the next inhale,

Any last remaining energies that you are ready to release going into the fire,

As you exhale,

They are cleared completely.

And on the next inhale,

Bringing in soft divine light,

Feeling this root warmth and strength.

And on the exhale,

Feel that energy anchoring deep into Mother Earth.

Let your breath return to normal.

Take a quiet moment now to ask your root chakra if there's anything it needs to feel supported.

Just allow whatever images or words come to your noticing,

Give it the time that it needs to be heard.

Give yourself the promise now that any images or words of support will be followed through.

And if you didn't receive any information or messages,

That's okay too.

Just promise to check in with this meditation again as needed to support the root chakra.

This chakra is now calm and balanced.

You feel grounded,

Safe and supported.

You trust your body.

You trust the earth beneath you.

You move through life with steadiness and ease.

And you can return to this grounded feeling anytime you choose.

Now slowly beginning to return the normal natural energy,

Filling your arms,

Your legs,

Your entire body.

Feeling your fingers and toes gently moving as you come up closer and closer to the surface.

Feeling good in every way.

Returning to here and now.

Take a deep breath,

Bring awareness back.

And when you're ready,

Open your eyes.

Calm,

Present,

Refreshed.

Thank you for taking this time to ground and heal.

May the sense of support stay with you throughout the day.

Be well.
