Hello,
My name is Brenda and today we'll spend some time nurturing our intuition.
So call it our gut,
Call it I just have this feeling.
Our intuition is unique to ourselves.
Each person has a different intuitive sense and with practice and patience it can get stronger and we can start to understand more of how intuition or how that intuitive sense comes forward for ourselves.
So let's come now into our meditative seat.
You might choose to ground yourself down to the floor,
Bring a cushion or a blanket underneath you or just choose to sit upright in a chair with your feet firmly planted to the floor.
And as you start making your way there,
Get a little movement in.
So feel the hips perhaps adjusting,
Your legs adjusting,
You might give your shoulders a roll or two,
Your head a slight movement,
Yes,
No,
Side to side.
And if you haven't already,
Go ahead and close your eyes and just feel your physical body here,
Allowing the body to move if it's still feeling like it needs to move.
And then slowly feeling or sitting a bit more into that stillness.
And I want you to notice or feel just about three inches away from your body.
So almost like there is a slight breeze or something close to you is about to touch your body or even thinking of the sensation of putting on a sweater or a coat.
Notice that area just a few inches away from your skin.
And with your next breath in,
Think about growing that area with your inhale,
Maybe about five inches away from your skin.
And then once again,
With the inhale,
We grow or expand that area away from our skin,
Away from our physical body,
Might be seven,
10 inches away from us.
And remind yourself to think all around you.
The next breath in again,
Expand that intention of the space 10 to 15 inches away from you.
And think below you,
Behind you as well.
Take about three or four more breaths.
With each inhale,
You feel a slight expansion again.
And there might be a point where it feels that's the the hedge of where you can bring your attention to any further you you just can't feel that or their perception is gone.
And so now we have placed,
You might imagine a globe or a bubble around you.
You might think of this bubble as a safe,
Protective bubble for yourself.
Notice what comes to you when the words protective or bubble are said.
Is there a color with that?
Is there texture to that?
Is there light?
And start to now bring your attention inward to the space between your eyebrows.
Feel the space widen,
Expand and relax.
This is the energetic space of our intuition,
Space between the eyebrows.
And we'll explore a few questions to explore intuition as well.
Am I comfortable?
Do I need to move?
Is my face relaxed?
Can I soften somewhere?
Is there anything that I need right now?
Let those questions,
Words and answers linger.
And observe if there's any sensations happening for you.
And whatever it is,
It can be a gesture or a guide towards getting closer to the sense of intuition.
And we'll slowly start to bring our protective bubble inward towards ourself.
And so this time as you exhale,
Imagine that that bubble you've created moves one or two inches closer to you.
And each time you exhale,
Just slowly comes in towards your midline,
Towards your physical body.
And then eventually it gets very close to your skin,
How we started just one or two inches away from you.
Take a big breath in through your nose,
And blow it out the mouth slowly.
As you're feeling ready,
You can tip your chin down,
Blink the eyes open a few times.
And throughout your day today,
You might explore some of these yes-no questions that we explored in our meditation.
Not really looking for the right answer,
Just seeing what comes up and asking yourself yes-no type questions.
Can help you build some of that intuition or nurture your intuition.
Thank you so much for tuning in today.
Come back to this meditation whenever you're feeling that need to really nurture yourself and your intuitive sense.
Have a great rest of your day.
