Welcome Mama.

I invite you to join me on a journey to your safe space.

Taking a moment here to get settled in.

Perhaps you're feeling called to sit upright,

Sitting on a cushion or on a chair.

Maybe you'd like to lay down and get cozy.

Whatever your body is calling you to do today,

Give yourself permission to follow your body's cues.

And then gently closing down the eyes,

Dropping into that sweet inward space,

Gifting yourself these minutes of deep rest,

Relaxation and connection.

Breathing in,

Allowing the belly to expand.

And as you exhale,

Maybe with a sigh,

Allowing the tension in your body to melt.

Letting the breath steadily become a little bit deeper.

Maybe you'd like to place one or both hands on your belly.

Just noticing the gentle rise and fall of your belly,

The connection with your baby.

As you approach this new chapter in your life,

The transition from maiden to mother,

It can be helpful to visualize a space that you feel safe and comfortable in.

A safe space that you can always return to when it gets too overwhelming,

When you feel like you can't do it anymore.

Trusting that this space is always there for you,

To nourish you,

To ground you and to provide the energy that you need to bring this new life onto this earth.

Imagine a golden door.

And you are gently walking towards this door.

There's beautiful engravings all around it,

Glistening and sparkling,

Inviting you to open it and to step into your safe space.

Just know that the space can be anything you want.

It can be a place that is real,

Maybe a place that you've visited.

Or it can be a place that is in your imagination,

The perfect safe space for you in this season of your life.

Now imagine yourself reaching for the handle of the door,

Opening it.

And as you open this door,

You're welcomed with pure golden light.

And you step into this pure golden light.

And on the other side,

You find your safe space.

Take a moment here just to look around.

What can you see?

Conjure anything in your imagination that makes you feel happy and secure.

Breathing deeply.

Each breath allowing that space to take on shape,

Colors,

Textures.

As you take your next deep breath in,

You start to notice some smells.

What beautiful scents do you smell here?

Take a deep breath and let the sweet smell fill your entire body.

As you continue to explore your safe space,

You start noticing some sounds.

Perhaps there's gentle music playing.

Maybe there's some birds chirping.

Take a moment to hear all the life that is present in your safe space.

You walk deeper into the heart of your safe space.

And you sit down,

Getting comfortable right at the center of this beautiful place.

Notice the temperature.

Notice if the air is warm or cool against your skin.

And as you look up,

You notice the weather.

An infinite sky spanning across.

Are there any textures around you?

Maybe your bare feet are in the beautiful beach.

Perhaps your fingers are touching high grass in the meadow.

Take a few minutes here to enjoy all of these details of your safe space.

Breathe.

Just breathe.

Now notice how your body is reacting to you being in your safe space.

As your breath slowed down and become steady,

Take a few deep breaths,

Releasing control,

Knowing that you're fully safe here and giving yourself permission to surrender to your safe space.

Checking in with your emotional body now.

Just noticing how you feel as you're in your safe space today.

Perhaps you feel a sense of belonging,

Of safety,

Of peace,

Of relaxation.

I invite you to focus on these feelings,

Allowing each breath to amplify them,

Sinking deeper and deeper into a state of deep relaxation.

As you continue to breathe,

Remember that this feeling of safety,

Of belonging,

Is yours.

You can access it anytime by visiting your inner sanctuary.

Just taking a few deep breaths in the moment of turbulence can help you find that inner peace and relaxation.

Feel free to stay as long in your safe space as you'd like.

And when you're ready to return,

Gently arise from your safe space,

Walking back through this door that's covered in golden light,

Returning back to the here and now,

And opening your eyes.
