Taking a moment to find a really comfortable position.
A position where you feel supported.
You may like to lay down or sit with your legs crossed.
Choosing a position that feels good for you today.
Making any final adjustments now and settling into stillness.
And with your eyes open,
Begin to scan around the room.
Noticing what is here with you.
Scanning from one side of the space to the other.
And scanning for something that brings a smile across your face.
Something that you may appreciate,
Or something that reminds you of a good time,
Or something you're just grateful for.
Scanning for something that brings a smile to your face.
And if you can't find anything to bring this smile on,
Just smile.
And when you're ready,
Close down your eyes.
Become aware of your breath.
Noticing how you're breathing in this moment.
And gently inviting more air into your body.
Feeling open and expansive to each new breath.
Continuing to invite and open to each new breath.
Gently become aware of how your body is feeling in this moment.
Can you make any more adjustments?
Lowering your shoulders down,
Releasing your jaw,
Letting go.
And gently becoming aware of any fragrances that are lingering in the space with you.
Perhaps you can smell your last meal,
Or the scent of a beautiful candle.
Bringing your awareness now down into your mouth.
Noticing the textures in your mouth.
You may like to run your tongue over your teeth,
Or swallow any saliva.
You may be able to notice any taste from your last meal.
Bringing your awareness now to the sounds that are in the distance.
Perhaps you can hear the sounds of traffic,
Nature such as birds or dogs.
And then becoming aware of the sounds that are closer to you.
Noticing what is here in this present moment.
Allowing the sound to just come in,
And then just pass.
Feeling in to your body,
Being deeply supported by the surface beneath you.
Noticing what body parts are connecting with the surface beneath you.
Feeling deeply supported by earth.
Feeling grounded and at ease as you come into stillness.
Bringing your awareness now to your whole body.
And inviting gratitude to wash over your face.
Sending gratitude into your ears,
Your nose,
Your mouth.
Allowing this gratitude to move over your shoulder,
And down through your arms,
And into your hands and fingers.
Sending deep gratitude.
Really embodying this sense of gratitude from within.
Noticing how the body is responding and communicating.
As you allow gratitude to wash down your spine.
Feeling grateful for the spine's ability to support you in this posture.
Gently allowing this gratitude to move through all your organs.
Sending gratitude for everything that they do to keep you alive.
Gently allowing gratitude now to linger through your hips and your reproductive organs.
And allowing gratitude to float down,
Down your legs,
Down into your ankles and feet.
Sensing into gratitude surrounding you from within.
Feeling deep appreciation.
Love.
And loving kindness to your body.
And bringing your awareness now to a beautiful door that's calling your name.
Saying hey,
Come over here.
It's time to play.
You really need to open this door.
It's for you.
So you start heading over to this door.
And you see this beautiful radiating light coming through the doorway.
And you step through this door.
And you immediately feel a sense of playfulness.
It's awakened.
Your playful side.
And you begin to do something that you've always wanted to do.
Or you've tapped into a childhood memory that just brought you so much joy.
And you look around.
And it's a beautiful place.
A place where you feel free to let go and be your true self.
You're moving freely.
And you have this beautiful smile across your face.
Because it feels so good to just have fun.
You notice the fragrances in the space that you're in.
You're noticing what is present with you.
Are there certain objects?
Are you in a certain place with certain people?
You're immersing yourself in this beautiful,
Playful space.
And you're not holding back.
You're just doing something that brings you joy.
That brings out the playfulness that's within you.
And you gently find a spot to just rest and observe this beautiful feeling of being playful.
Noticing how your body feels.
Knowing the sensations to ripple through your body.
And noticing a beautiful smile radiating from you as you rest.
Knowing that you can be playful.
It can be fun.
And you can be creative.
Hmm.
Coming back now.
Noticing how your body feels.
Sending deep gratitude into your whole body.
For allowing you to be free to let go and do what feels playful for you.
Bringing your awareness now to your breath.
And gently invite an expansive breath in.
Come out of you with a sigh.
Bringing a little bit more movement into your body now.
By wriggling your fingers and toes.
And opening your eyes and noticing the space that you're in.
Thank you.
