Good morning,
Good day to you mamas,
Mamas-to-be,
And welcome to our affirmation meditation of the first trimester.
So this is a very short meditation,
But still I invite you for this to take a moment to sit up straight,
To sit upright.
So having a beautiful long spine here,
You can bring the shoulders forward and up and back again,
And then relax them back down,
Just getting this slight little more open chest feeling.
The head is in line with the spine,
And the hands are resting somewhere on your lap,
On your thighs,
Palms facing up.
We close the eyes,
And we take a moment first to arrive,
To arrive in your body,
To arrive in this space,
To arrive in this moment.
Scanning through the body,
We relax the body from the top,
From the head,
Down the face,
Neck,
Shoulders,
Arms,
Hands,
Chest,
Back,
Buttocks,
Hips,
Legs,
And feet.
We take three mindful breaths through the nose,
Exhaling slowly each time,
And listening to the sound of those breaths as they enter and leave the body.
And we now bring the attention to our hands relaxed,
Fingers relaxed,
Palms open,
Feeling the energies in our hands,
Feeling maybe a slight tingling,
Or warmth,
Or freshness,
Sense of receptivity here,
Availability.
And we charge our hands with this energy,
Feeling it,
And we bring these beautiful energies to our womb,
Placing the hands on our wombs,
On our bellies,
Sending our energies,
These energies to the baby inside,
Present with your baby.
And we repeat mentally these words,
These affirmations,
I welcome you,
I am ready for you,
I already love you,
I welcome you,
I am ready for you,
I already love you,
I welcome you,
I am ready for you,
I already love you.
Feeling each word and the meaning they carry,
And repeating them a few more times on our own,
Sending those words to our baby.
And gently we release the hands,
And when we are ready,
We can open the eyes again,
And come back.
