Good morning dear mamas,

Mamacitas,

And welcome to today's meditation which is called A Miracle is Happening Inside Me.

It's a very sweet meditation which is focusing on gratitude and love and will help you to bond with your baby.

In your second trimester,

At least for me,

Was really the moment when I started to feel like I could communicate more with my baby.

As the baby grows and the belly becomes rounder,

You start at some point to feel the first little kicks,

The little butterfly flutters in your womb,

And so it just becomes so much more real that there's another human being actually there.

And so baby bonding is usually something that starts in the second trimester but of course can start later,

Can start before.

Anyway,

This meditation is gonna create that.

So first find yourself in a comfortable place,

In a quiet place,

In a comfortable position.

So I'm not asking you to come into any stoic and stern sitting position if you don't feel so comfortable in that right now.

You can also just relax a little more on a chair or in your bed.

You can even practice lying down.

So really in pregnancy there's much more flexibility around all this because what's important too in these types of meditation at least is that you can really rest and relax and feel comfortable in your body.

So close your eyes.

I invite you to close your eyes and to relax,

To relax the eyes and to relax the forehead and the temples,

All the muscles of the face.

We tend to have a lot of tension in those muscles,

Tiny little muscles,

So let's really consciously try to soften the face,

All the features.

And soften also the jaw,

Maybe create a tiny little space in between our lips to relax the jaw completely.

And the neck and the shoulders.

Take a moment to bring your shoulders forward and up and back and down again.

So opening the shoulders and the chest a little bit more and then let them relax.

And relax the chest,

And relax the belly,

Relax the legs,

The arms and the hands,

All the fingers.

And the whole body is relaxed.

When the body relaxes,

The mind also relaxes.

Letting the mind be soft and letting the heart be soft too.

And let's turn our awareness for a few moments to our breathing,

Noticing the body breathing.

The chest and the belly rise on the inhale,

The chest and the belly sink back down on the exhale.

And just like that,

Following the breath and allowing yourself to sink deeper,

To soften further with each exhale.

Softening into your body,

Into this moment.

Moment of rest,

Of peace,

Awareness,

And stillness.

And just like that,

Letting a feeling of gratitude slowly rise within you.

Slowly rise,

Gratitude for this entire journey that you're on.

This journey of pregnancy,

And then soon becoming a mother.

Gratitude for the alignment of the stars that made that possible,

That made that happen.

Gratitude for the love that you have for the stars,

Gratitude for the alignment of the stars that made that possible,

That made that happen.

Deep gratitude for your body,

Your beautiful,

Incredible powerhouse of a body,

Which is accomplishing miracles right now.

Sending your body so much love,

So much love.

Renewing your commitment to your body,

That you will care for it,

That you will listen to it,

And answer to its needs.

Commitment to your body,

Gratitude.

And then gratitude,

Deep gratitude for your baby.

Thank you baby for choosing me to be your mother.

Thank you for making your appearance.

Thank you,

Thank you,

Thank you.

And I renew my commitment to you,

Baby.

I commit to loving you,

To being with you,

To being with you,

I commit to loving you,

Welcoming you,

Answering to your needs,

To the best of my capacity.

I commit to you.

You can trust me and rely on me.

I am already your mother.

And I love you already.

So sending your love,

Your light to your baby.

You can let them know how excited you are to meet them,

How excited you are that they are a part of your life,

How happy this makes you.

Sending any other secret,

Silent messages you wish to,

From your heart to your baby's heart.

Your heartbeat beating in unison with your baby's heart.

In unison with your baby's heart.

Enjoying these final moments of togetherness with your baby.

You can place your hands on your belly.

They can feel that.

Sending them your loving touch,

Your loving energies through the palms of your hands,

Your warmth.

And gently,

When you are ready,

You can stay here longer,

Of course.

But if you're ready,

We will close the meditation.

So taking a couple of deep breaths into the body,

Rejuvenating the body,

Sending this fresh oxygen all the way down to your baby.

And keeping this sense of connection and communication with your child.

You can open the eyes to this world around you,

This world around you.

To this world around you,

This world which soon your baby will also get to see,

That you will share with him,

With her,

With them.

The whole world to discover and to rediscover together.
